View Full Version : i need help with my ipod video simpsons fan 03-20-2007, 04:31 PM i got an ipod video a few weeks ago for my birthday i got one video from somwhere but i can put any others on when i click add file nothing comes up at all could someone help me dreamytime 03-20-2007, 04:35 PM you have to make sure that you have the right kind of file first it has to be a mp4 (quicktime file) you either can get a converter to take avi files to the right format (just google for one the one I have was around $25.00) or purchase movies direct from Itunes...they are already in the right format. if you want the name of the programs I use to rip a dvd and convert to mp4 PM me back. I would have to message you once I get back to my dorm room where I have it on that machine. GL - it is wicked to watch movies on my iPod and with one cord you can use it to show on your tv as well. :) dreamytime 03-20-2007, 07:28 PM Here is what I use.... I use DVD to VCD SVCD AVI Converter that you can purchase at www.dvd-converter.net for ripping. My converter to iPod and stuff is WinAVI video Converter (iPod/PSP/3GP/MP4) at www.winavi.com simpsons fan 03-21-2007, 04:41 PM thanks for the help it worked dreamytime 03-21-2007, 05:00 PM Woot for you!
