VMK Holiday Decorations Discussion

Welcome to the Speculations: VMK Holiday Thread! Recently, many of the VMK Players have asked the VMK Staff when the Halloween Decorations (Located in Town Square, Main Street, Central Plaza and Castle Forecourt areas of the Virtual Magic Kingdom). A thread has finally been started where the members of the fan site can post their ideas and feedback on what we think Virtual Magic Kingdom is going to look like for the upcoming Holidays. Please place all information that the staff provides and your opinion on what you think VMK is going to look like.

TheIdolMara's Ideas:

Once Thanksgiving comes to a close, I believe that the Halloween Decorations will be removed from the VMK space and in it's place will be put Holiday decorations. Yes, there are some that do not celebrate every holiday, so every sort of decoration will be put in place. There will hopefully be snow crowding the streets and icicles hanging off of the lamp wires. In each area, a christmas carol or famous disney christmas song will be playing as is the haunted mansion music that plays currently. In place of the "Happy Halloween" banners, it will state "Happy Holidays".
When the Halloween decorations, VMK Esplanade, and part of Tomorrowland opened to the public, VMK was changed and Halloween decorations that could be purchased were released. Since the same may happen when the Holiday decorations appear, here is my speculation:

As it happened when Halloween arrived, the christmas decorations will come along with Frontierland and possibly more parts of Tomorrowland. It has been stated that these lands will come near the holidays and we should be expecting them then. A reason that it is taking so long to arrive is because maybe the lands are opening and VMK is getting ready for a full re-boot and the decorations need to set in.

More thoughts will arrive soon, and please feel free to post your input on what the decorations and releases will be

Update:

While browsing Visions Fantastic (Thank you Mr. Garret ), I found some nice shots of the DLR Main Street! Here's only one that could be obtained and brought to the fan site!

Note: I do not own the rights to this picture. I obtained it from http://www.visionsfantastic.com.

I also think that it would be cool to have snow and lights around the Frontierland sign because that's how they have it in DLR.

And finally: Hopefully the Candy Pumpkin-Bag Trees in Main Street (The Whole Span), will turn into Christmas trees that are decorated.

Also: Please feel free to discuss the decorations that can be bought from the Emporium soon

You know for many years we went to Disneyland on Thanksgiving Day. This was the first day it was decorated for Christmas. Perhaps the same will happen in VMK?

That is a very good speculation Argoace, but if you were not already informed, The Magic Kingdom in California is decorated and ready for the Christmas Holidays. I'm not sure if Walt-Disney-World is decorated yet but let's just hope that you are correct! Nice
