Possible Taylor Swift Concert!
I could be going to a Taylor Swift concert!
Ahh, I'm like so excited! It's rare that we get good concerts in this state, since of our little populations and our "big" towns are small compared to others. The cheap tickets are like $15O and the expensive are like $425. It's in July and my birthday is in June so it could be a possible birthday present, but I may have to pay some. I need some money if I was going to pay some and what ways could I get some? I can have a job after June, but I doubt I will get one that soon after I turn old enough. I babysit, but not that often and I don't know a lot of people I could babysit. Last summer I mowed lawns for the for sale houses on our street, but those will most likely sell before then. Any other ideas? |

Yeah, I agree with the last two posts. Taking care of pets and watching houses while people are away (collecting their mail and newspapers) are both great jobs. Maybe offering services to rake leaves or other little odd jobs to help out.
With babysitting, you can advertise in local areas or go to an elementary or local preschool to see if you can put up a flyer with your contact information but make sure this is okay with your parents first. Never post contact information without an adult knowing. Either that or ask the people you do currently babysit for to see if they have friends who need a babysitter. When I used to babysit, people always circulated the news about me being a babysitter so I eventually worked for every family in my neighborhood. As for the concert, I know how much fun those can be and I hope you get to go see Taylor Swift. I cannot believe how much they are these days though. Those prices are insane! Good luck on saving up and I'll have my fingers crossed that you get to go.

Yea, lemonade stands don't make much money. But one time, while my mom and grandma were having a rummage sale, I put up a lemonade brownie and cookie stand.
Guess how much I made? $50. I'm not kidding. |

Thanks for the great ideas guys(:
I think we are having a rummage sale this summer and I have tons of old books that I want to get rid of, and anything of mine that I put on the sale and sells, I get the money. I also have almost $2OO saved from last summer mowing, but those are meant for clothes and that would take a huge chunk out of it. |

This morning tickets went on sale and my mom bought 4! They were only $5O [the premium ones] and I don't know why the other websites said $15O. Ahh, I'm soo excited! And I get to bring a friend or 2 with me ;D |
