While there isn't anything official on the Press Release site (figures) it is definitely closing, and, as stated before, will become more family oriented.

Personally I think this is a bad move for Disney, as they'll lose young adults to CityWalk, but Walt was all about family fun, so who knows.

A lot of people in the Disney fan community are more upset over the closing of the Adventurer's Club, and there are already petitions to keep it open.

An interesting rumor came up a while back about Disney's Night Kingdom, a fifth park built to the west of the Magic Kingdom, and would offer yet another species of family fun. You would zipline into a temple, see hippopotami, etc. That rumor was bumped down after hearing that Bob Iger himself was somewhat opposed to the idea. The park was supposed to be a spin-off of the Adventurer's Club.
