I for one am upset, for i spent a large sum of credits buying the new hats because the callendar said: it would only be out today 7 - 10

all month??? that's too much!! Neoteny was right!! he said at least it would be out for a weak.. but it said limited time

This month a new hat is released each week :)

I too collected credits and bought as many as I could...I could have saved them & been on my way to a quest kiosk instead!

I wish that I had not purchased as many as I did. I got 16. If I had know that they weren't as LIMITED as I thought ( one day or weekend) I would have only bought 5 or 6.

This is interesting.. I am sure glad though. It is limited for this months celebrations I guess. Great find, and great use of HELP button. It really answered our question :val02:

will the quest makers and heart chairs be on sale all month too?

but when they post the pin for the 2 days it is out and do not post any new items as being released such as the heart chairs they should not post the release of the hat as one day.

i'm glad bc i was not on last night

i am not glad as i am from the uk so by the time vmk was up for me to get the hats it was 4.30 in the morning i sat up all night to get them. VMK really need to make their dates clear for things being released, such as pins out for the weekend are posted on all 3 days with the times, so why should they lead every1 to believe that the hat will only be available for one day they should not have posted a time with the hat if it is to stay out all month.

So maybe one new hat every month... or just one for now - this one.

Oh gosh, yeah I'm upset too. I spent 10,000 credits for them to trade! :( Darn vmk...

wow i wasn't on so i am kind of happy. sorry to the ppl who spent forever getting hmm.. 16 or whatever the rest of u got. check the calendar theys should have the proper dates and times that they are selling stuff.

trying to tell people is hard, I was on VMK the day the hat was released, everybody was saying 'Hurry up and get the Mask before its gone tomorrow!' I was like, 'Calm down!, it will be here for the weekend', and everybody was like, 'NO! it says limited time only!' man, you don't know how hard of a time I had trying to tell them limited time only could mean for 1 day, a weekend or a whole week..

they just wouldn't believe me, but I knew that there was no way VMK would only make a hat available for 1 day, maybe 2 days(Saturday & Sunday) but never 1 day.. thats insane.
I've bought 6 hats total, sold 1 for a Christmas Mickey Hat(so it was worth it). what I'd be more worried about is the Quest Kiosk(which I'm working toward right now with only 4226 credits)

Each Friday, a new hat will be released, similar to the Halloween release schedule. They will remain for sale through the month, and who knows, maybe into March. I've read nothing at VMK.com to indicate these were one day events. The calendar lists the hats to come and gives times of 7am - 10pm, VMKs regular hours. I also recall in Yavn's news that 'a new hat will be available each Friday', but not like today's Super Bowl event, which he stressed was for today only.

So I read a lot of sour grapes in this thread. Players who made an unwise investment. This is called speculation. You buy at a low price in the hope of selling it at a higher price. There is nothing wrong with this, but, if your investment goes bust, don't blame VMK.
