It is the one you get for completing the Hidden Mickey Quest.:val06: Thanks for looking!! perstephanie 02-01-2007, 09:29 PM I haven't been to DLR in a while, but considering that the card officially is retired, I'd guess that it probably isn't being handed out anymore. vanillabug 02-02-2007, 03:39 AM Ok, Thanks - Anyone know what they are handing out instead of the Golden Show Designer? astroconfuseder 02-02-2007, 03:42 AM no, im pretty sure they stopped Grooveygrl 02-02-2007, 03:44 AM They are officially retired lol vanillabug 02-02-2007, 03:46 AM Ok, Thanks - Anyone know what they are handing out instead of the Golden Show Designer? Thanks again for the responses. Does anyone know what they are giving out instead? Neoteny 02-02-2007, 05:17 AM Thanks again for the responses. Does anyone know what they are giving out instead? Probably the VMK Credits card. SkyWayStitch 02-02-2007, 06:39 AM I completed the Hidden Mickey Quest over Christmas, and I got a card for credits. I believe it was 500 credits, not even the value of purchasing the coresponding buyable items. Oh well. Caterpillar AEIOU 02-02-2007, 07:26 AM They have been gone since early Summer of 2006. StitchMad 02-02-2007, 07:55 AM Golden Show Design card is now retired from both parks. If you turn in your sheet, they'll give you a card for 500 credits. I think it's 500, but the man there said it only gives 100. Mr.Abominable 02-02-2007, 09:45 AM I was at DLR last week and they gave me two 500 credit cards for my Gold Collection paper. There was also only Frontierland and Pirate quest left but they still accepted Tomorrowland quests. Neoteny 02-02-2007, 03:29 PM Golden Show Design card is now retired from both parks. If you turn in your sheet, they'll give you a card for 500 credits. I think it's 500, but the man there said it only gives 100. I picked up six of the VMK Credits cards on my last trip to Disneyland (last week). Four of them gave me 500 credits each, and the other two each gave me 100 credits. So it would appear that they're not all the same. vanillabug 02-02-2007, 03:33 PM Thanks for all your help! Seems like a waste of time to do the Hidden Mickey Quest to get a card that may only be worth 100 credits. I would rather have a Teleportation Magic card! Neoteny 02-02-2007, 03:34 PM I would rather have a Teleportation Magic card!Got a couple of those last week, too. ;) vanillabug 02-08-2007, 05:58 AM Well, just turned in the paper for the Golden Designer at Disneyland. They gave me a card good for credits (they told me it was worth 500 and it was actually good for only 100) and an invisibility magic card. I thought I would only get the cards for credits, so it is all good!:val01: Neoteny 02-08-2007, 03:44 PM They didn't tell me they still had Spooky! in stock! jsmall 02-08-2007, 03:56 PM wow they still have invisibility. Jacques 02-08-2007, 04:01 PM They didn't tell me they still had Spooky! in stock! They have a lot of cards in stock they don't tell you about. They need to keep those on hand, because they are print-out prizes. Neoteny 02-08-2007, 04:10 PM They have a lot of cards in stock they don't tell you about. They need to keep those on hand, because they are print-out prizes. Is the Pirates game still handing out pdfs? I thought that ended with the new version. Jacques 02-08-2007, 04:49 PM Those have ended. But the Park needs to be prepared in case someone turns in an old one. I believe they still have a majority of the .pdf prizes on hand. PirateAhoy 02-08-2007, 07:21 PM Are you thinkin' what I'm thinkin'? I'm thinkin' VMK will have print-outs for fireworks magic also ;) Just a guess...But I wonder if they are planning a bring-back of Golden Show Designer, becasue they have the card in WDW card showcase (those who have been to WDW know what I'm talking about) TLynn 02-08-2007, 07:38 PM When I tried to turn in mine they wouldn't give me anything... although they gave me the jungle cruise room again which they refused to take the time before. You never know what response you'll get there. But I did get a couple of invisibility cards in exchange for my pumpkins that never worked (sent messages to the black hole about them, but that went as expected). And from looking in the drawer they seemed to have very few invisibility cards left. Plus those credits cards seem to be random on 100 v. 500. |
