View Full Version : Annasophia Robb's Music Video
Annaso 01-26-2007, 10:59 PM Sorry if this is in the wrong place, mods, please move it if so!
Hey, did any of you happen to catch Annasophia Robb's music video for "Keep your Mind Wide Open"? It was on Disney Channel a few days ago, I believe. I only caught the end when it was on TV, but I saw the rest on another website. If you saw it, what did you think? Share comments, please!
What did I think? I thought it was bad. Wait, let me rephrase that. I like the way they staged to video, and the song is pretty cool (I guess), but I DIDN'T like the fact that Annasophia Robb was the one singing it. No offense to her, I think she's a great actress and all, but it's just that it seems like Disney is trying to make too many "popstars" out of their stars. They give almost everyone a music video. They're usually good, but now, it just got annoying! Especially because, and I'll probably be hated by many when I say this, I don't think she's actually SINGING in that one. Sorry, but I think it looks too cheesy.
TikiRoom 01-27-2007, 12:49 AM I did not, straight up, like it one bit. That is all there is too it.
MissKeyKey 01-27-2007, 12:54 AM I accutally liked it. She has a really pretty voice for only being 13 :D and i agree that disney will give anyone a music video but it seems to me that she can accutally sing well.

Yes, she's 13. But honestly, I've seen LOTS of people who can sing better than her (and I think they were aobut her age, some younger).
GreatSierra 01-27-2007, 04:58 PM OMG. I hated the music video. IT was VERY cheesy! I mean she can't just bobb her head or sway back in forth or roll her eyes all the time. And when they had the backrounds she... She wasn't even singing. ANd the song it almost put me to sleep. It was just the same words over and over. Annasophia Robb stick with acting is my opinion.

Actually, if she does any more movies, she might eventually be labeled as yet another "Dakota Fanning wannabe" (although I think people are saying Dakota is losing her innonce because of her part in a recent movie of hers). Oh well, that's showbiz.
It was ok... lol, lately I have been seeing a lot of new music videos on Disney ><

Too many music videos. At first it was fun to watch, but just coming up with these new popstars out of nowhere? What's up with that?
SuiteStarr 01-29-2007, 01:09 AM Who is Dakota Fanning?
Annaso 01-31-2007, 01:30 AM Who is Dakota Fanning?
She's the little blonde twelve-year old who has hardly any adult teeth and is in War of the Worlds, Charlotte's Web, The Cat in the Hat, Dreamer, Uptown Girls....
OT: I saw Dakota Fanning once. I went to see a Broadway show, and she was sitting RIGHT in front of me! She is so short! And also, there was like a line of ten people during intermission in fornt of her, filled with people who wanted her autograph!

You did?! Wow! Dakota fanning.. She's alright but i think she was better being innocent and playing the roles that were meant for her. she's a great actor but you know. She wants to much. And Annasophia just REALLY needs to stick to acting. Sooner ot later disney channel will be like MTV.

Oh, you mean Charlotte's Web, right?
Yeah, that is the Rated R movie I wanted to see...
I know what your saying lol.

No, it's not "Charlotte's Web".
Anyway, back on topic, I think Annasophia is becoming too much of a wannabe with this music video.
Sorry about being mean, but it's my opinion.
jdrocks 02-27-2007, 06:50 AM I love her!! She rocks!
PowerGirl 02-27-2007, 01:27 PM I didn't like it. "You've got to keep your mind wide open". Sounds more like a nursery song. Like, a Mother Goose song or something. Pretty soon that little girl on Cory in the House will be singing "The cow jumped over the moon" to the same tune as the "mind wide open" song.
"The cow jumped over the moon
All the possibilities
I wonder if saw any cheese there
And ate some, just for me."
LOL
Insanity 02-27-2007, 01:35 PM Oh my goodness, my sis loves her.
I absolutely agree with TikiRoom, but with me.. there's more to it.
She is without a doubt the worst singer ever.
I think the song could be done better by a boy.
Now after the videos ect, my sis wants to see the movie Bridge To Terabithea(?Spelling?). I dont know, I dont care about the copy of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.

HAHA!!! And ate some just for me funny lol XD.
ShadowYourMan 04-11-2007, 12:43 AM Her voice is too weak. It would be better if Beyonce sung it.
