How do you connect your Nintendo ds lite to the internet... I just bought one and I got Animal Crossings... and what are DS codes?????? I need to know some info :pirate: well bye :) :)

I think this is talking about Wi-FI. I'm pretty sure there is a site and you have to download something or other..

Yeah its the Wi-Fi and there is a site to download it but i kept hearing you have to buy something. I'm not real sure, but i saw the site but didnt bother with it.

this is wut u need a nintendo usb connector,the disc that comes with usb connnector (or download the software like pockets said), dsl or faster internet, and a wireless router.

to get friend code for your ds in animal crossing u need to talk to one of the dogs at gate i think copper or something like that

to find out how to get friend codes for other wifi game go to the nintendo wifi Official site and go to tech support

tech support if i remeber correctly is same place where u download the software but u still need to buy usb connnector it cost 40$ for the whole thing ( disc and connector) if u have any other question pm me

Let me clear this up. I am SO tired of people saying "You HAVE to buy the Thing to connect!" The thing is, you don't. All you need is a wireless router, you probably have one. You can find out your WEP code, enter it, and you're done. It isn't as hard as people make it seem.

You DON'T need the usb connector,
in fact I didn't even have to download anything what-so-ever to use the Wi-Fi on Animal Crossing and Mario Kart.

I never downloaded anything or bought anything. Even though it took a while to find my Web Encryption Code, once you enter it, you always can connect whenever you want. Also, some places like Mcdonalds or other internet cafes have free Wi-Fi so just connect to theirs and you are good to go!

To get on Wi-Fi it simply uses the wireless Internet you use on the computer. A little booklet should have come with the DS or game that has Wi-Fi that will tell you how to set it up. If you lost the booklet then I am sure you can Google it and find it easily.

Friend codes are found in all Wi-Fi games but in different places. On Animal Crossing you have to go talk to the gate keeper and he will connect you to the Internet and give you your code. Your code will never change. If you are confused about where to find the code I always used to find mine using the game's booklet.

alright thx i guess i learned something new today

and dancer i mostley play mario kart ds so if u get it or have it and want to play let me no i allso play starfox command,mario hoops 3 on 3,and metriod prime hunters(MIA)
