The bad news: Now it only gives you the ride car and no credits! Oh yes, and the ride car only sells for 5 credits instead of 50. Jezibabe 01-27-2007, 02:22 AM The good news: It's back up again this evening. If it does not sell credits now, not like the world is going end. Neoteny 01-27-2007, 02:29 AM The good news: It's back up again this evening. The bad news: Now it only gives you the ride car and no credits! Oh yes, and the ride car only sells for 5 credits instead of 50. Well, it had to happen eventually. I'm actually surprised it lasted as long as it did. They really want us to earn our credits, huh? First Fireweorks, and now this? Wish they'd lower the prices on some of the items in stores! alice 01-27-2007, 05:26 AM They really want us to earn our credits, huh? First Fireweorks, and now this?Well, since nobody earns money by playing games in the real world, (at least very few of us!) whatever VMK provides as a way to earn credits is really pretty arbitrary. They can (and do) choose any methods they like. But whether we play mini-games, make music mixes, click npcs, or play Yeti Vision, they all require an investment of our time. That's "earning it" as far as I'm concerned. I don't think we have any responsibility to VMK beyond that. GatorGreen 01-27-2007, 05:40 AM Arg... Yeti Vision was the only productive way to earn credits and now it's gone. I still can't play the new pirates well, Haunted Mansion freezes or crashes most of the time, Jungle Cruise is pointless, and fireworks is ruined. I guess I just won't buy anything, and won't run my game because of the lack of credits. Hopefully, firework's credits will be upped. soccerrunner 01-27-2007, 04:35 PM All I can say is.. what is VMK thinking?! The prices of items are continually rising and now all of are credits prizes are decreasing? No clue what I'm going to do now... I mean really, what harm does it do for players to get credits outside the game. Especially for those players who have difficulties with the mini-games. This is VMK (Yavn), saying to VMK players that simply he does not care. Very sad example to show the younger players in the game, in my opinion. Very sad, indeed. Bad form VMK! :( prisoner 01-27-2007, 05:13 PM All I can say is.. what is VMK thinking?! The prices of items are continually rising and now all of are credits prizes are decreasing? No clue what I'm going to do now... I have to wonder if all these changes were required before they started lowering the prices of new items again and trying to bring things back into balance. (I'm not sure it will actually work... but inflation in the game really was out of control.) It's not worth my time for that. I can go Nedding and get more. Neoteny 01-28-2007, 08:22 AM Here's the new screen shot. http://gallery.vmkforums.com/data/834/nocredits.gif Yes, is everybody envious of my new Everest Ride Car? greenhpper 01-28-2007, 01:00 PM Didn't one of the levels have a sell back of a 100 credits (the room)? I'm soooo glad I got my last batch of codes in before the change. Maybe all of this has to do in part with this epcot turnstile they are eventually bringing out? Although if credits are going to be so valuable it will really make one think twice about spending it on a game room, let alone a ride room. prisoner 01-28-2007, 01:47 PM Didn't one of the levels have a sell back of a 100 credits (the room)? I'm soooo glad I got my last batch of codes in before the change. Yes, it did. It is also now 5 credits to sell the room back. One really has to wonder why they let it go on as long as they did, actually. CiscoRau 01-28-2007, 10:24 PM One really has to wonder why they let it go on as long as they did, actually. I have to be in total agreement on this. The odd thing is that they fixed it and then waited a week (or so) to change it. What's with that? Why not just change it when they fixed it? |
