Ok so pretty much just post what you would do if VMK started charging people to play?:confused:


I would probably quit UNLESS you got benefits from paying.

Once VMK starts charging, I would be gone from VMK forever.

If VMK had to charge, they should have free membership, and premium membership.

Free membership have the same benefits as we do in the game right now.

Maybe for premiun, they get 1,000 credits or so a month.

Yea that makes sense but 1000 isnt really that much to be paying for it..

To tell you the truth, I think my mom would probably pay for me to play. She knows how much I love VMK, and I can't see her not letting me play, just because they would've started charging.

It wouldn't be fair that all the people, all they did in 2 Years to make them pay and if they don't they will lose everything they worked for

Well, I don't think I would play. My parents don't even care that I play so, I don't think they would pay for me.

I probably wouldn't play VMK anymore either. I'm supposed to be focused on schoolwork anyways because I got a B last trimester @_@.

I would quit. Because more scamming and mean people would be around VMK.

If it's only $5 a month, then i would play. However, since pay is involved, the game would have to change a bit so people end up saying "wow, that was a good month's worth of pay ($5 a month at the most would be fine)."

You all do realize the new pirates online game will probably charge at least $5 a month. After all, this game is an MMORPG, all MMORPG games that are good actually charge. Also, it's the same makers behind toontown and other games, toontown charges also.

Also, if piratesonline game ends up being good, i might stop playing vmk during that time (pay or not pay). I have a feeling many of us are going to do that. After all, we all know about it, don't we?

I would expect some kind of support line and customer service that's more in tune with what Disney is traditionally known for; as opposed to what we have now, which is nothing. I guess they really only care about their paying guests. (Oxymoron?)

Eh, It'd be hard to decide.
On one side: Why should I pay good money for a computer game that used to be free?
On the other side: If I stop, all my work would be for nothing!

I doubt Disney would make us pay to play a half 2-D half 3-D game.
Now, if the game has awesome graphics, extreme Three Demensional affects and all, like Toontown, then they would probably charge.
Toontown is more like a action kind of game.
VMK is more of a play with friends, win contests with your virtual room, play mini-games kind of game, like Neopets.
I reckon that most action games have to charge, but not the hang out kind of game.
But if they did charge, they SHOULD have a premium service, where you have to pay for special benefits, and a normal service, like the way we play now.

Just my two cents.

I would probably pay but of course it would depend on how much and whether or not it could be played on two computers for one price. I pay for Toontown but we can only have it on one computer unless I pay for another account.

True, that's what I would do too

I think they should come out with two versions, a free and non-free version of vmk, just like runescape.

1.The free version would basically be the same way it is now, nothing bad happens and everybody still plays

2. The non-free version would have players pay $5-$10 a month, and let them get special benifits such as maybe a free room and special items on sale just for players that are on the paying server, including special magic.

If they do this, everybody would play the free version and every now-and-then play the paying version to have more fun.
