if you have any news on new or old items that will be coming to vmk soon that others may not know about please tell them here :D for instance i have heard from alot of people that princess minnie hats will be coming back in the month of may this year

I would strongly discourage people to avoid spreading rumors with no basis in anything. If you have a reason why you think that - thats fine, but feel free to include that reason.

Some examples of what is ok:

"Hey, Mardis Gras is coming up, and the Gallery is showing some hats, I think we'll see those hats for Mardis Gras!"
"We saw different coloured heart chairs last year, I wonder if we can buy them this year."
"I think it would be great if they released the other Animal Kingdom items when the new DVC resort opens."


Some examples of what is not ok:

"I heard from staff that the Epcot Room will be 5000 credits." (Not ok unless you show some proof, but even then staff tend to not say such things.)
"I just know that Cyan Ariel will be for sale this Friday." (How do you know it?)


News is fine. Rumors aren't.

For example, I think it's highly unlikely that the New Years 2006 Pin will ever be rereleased, because it has a date on it. However, I think the more popular hats, such as the Princess and Sorcerer hats, will keep coming back every year or two.

And there is a fine example of the difference between speculation (a fine and entertaining thing IMO) and rumor. I believe you should be able to freely say what you think may happen without people jumping down your throat and accusing you "rumor starting". This is becoming a pet peeve of mine.

Actually, it says what will be released for the entire month (as far as hats and pins go). ;)

If you've been to the VMK gallery, they should be the hats in the picture, for the most part, although I don't recall there being a pink beret and I believe one of the hats in the picture doesn't seem like it will be out since none of the title's don't seem to match it. I think it is like a blue jester's hat in the way it looks.

I don't think so - VMK hasn't ever released a pin twice like that. Sure, there have been pin trading events, but never a pin that was sold again. Would be interesting if they did, though...
