Has anybody else noticed that the codes obtained from the Jack Sparrow game now show as invalid when entered in VMK? What's up with that? Are they retiring the Sparrow Suit? I wonder why VMK made the codes not valid any more. Anybody know what's up with this?

It's just a phase i think, sometimes the codes just dont work, i hope it's not permanant...

Are you entering many codes in a row?
Sometimes VMK doesn't like that.
Try moving to another room or logging out and logging back in and see if your codes work.

Well of course they won't work today if you used them on Tuesday! You can only use each code once!

Any and all fresh, unused codes from the Sparrow game, do not work when entered into VMK as of Wed. Jan 17th. It has nothing to do with switching rooms, or entering them too fast, etc.

I have had this happen before. I just waited a couple of days, tried the codes again and they worked. That's how I got my Sparrow Suit. :)

If you are getting an error message about code failure or generator failure where the code would show it then it's most like that they are currently out of codes, so nothing can be generated O_o This happened before and it worked a day or two after ;)

Pirate Codes are NOT working yet. It's still a no go.

Hmm, maybe the ones I was trying were too old, because I tried what I thought to be a more recent code, and it worked... I got an Organ :-) So it looks as though problem is solved.

I'm sure. It simply asked you to say which game you'd want a code from. Then it generates it. It appears that the system is down right now and it has been for about a month so maybe someone caught them?

AstroShadyKid1, the game still isn't giving new codes for any of us... we're not talking about entering the Codes in VMK, we're talking about the error we get when playing the Pirate Game again and selecting the VMK Code prize option... it isn't giving new codes.

It's not just Dead Man's Chest, either! Kellogg's 'Pirates Are Coming', the water parks game, and Narnia Adventure are all giving out ERROR messages instead of codes.

The Sparrow Suits are tradeable.

And the codes work on vmk if you want a picture of it working just ask. I was replying to hawkeye who said the game wasn't dispensing codes anymore, it was already explained in earlier posts that the codes have worked on vmk for other people.

Also a lot of people sell the extra items for credits. But sparrow suit is still worth the time.

If you aren't getting codes I recommend clearing cookies, history and all internet content, possible through Internet properties.

Well you never know it VMK staff might think its time to retire all sparrow stuff even the not tradable stuff like sparrow poster, dead man chest ect. Then it will be a whole lot rarer then it is at this moment. rotfl

Ah Yup there is a code generator out there again from one of the other sites and I bet vmk is stopping this codes from being givien out to see who is still putting in an excessive amount of codes. Why do these ppl have to use generator's? Just use the quick link it is the same as playing the game only shorter!

Sometimes you get a code and sometimes it's an error message.

Usually after a day or two it's fixed, I think.

BUT-
The Waterslide game is also down.
Maybe they are linked?

Well, the last time somebody figured out how to hack the system, Narnia teleporters were made untradeable.

That's what happened with the Narnia Wardrobe Teleporters. They used to be tradeable, then somebody hacked the codes, and suddenly there were thousands of them in the game, and now they're no longer tradeable.

Hey, I finally got around to seeing the movie yesterday, and now I actually understand the game!

I mean, I understood how to play before, but now I know who the characters are and what the objects mean and all that.
