For some odd reason, whenever I send a message through Contact Us, staff often replies fast to me. It's mostly VMK_Shorty who sends it. And it does not come in my spam, it's in my inbox. Weird... It's like they're nice to me! VMK_Shorty even visited my room once, and VMK_Mocha came to my room earlier today. VMK_Shorty was also they one who got me my huge amount of staff back (I was scammed before).
Any thoughts on why they are so nice to me? :)

Also, feel free to post your thoughts on VMK Staff.

Yes, I have been hearing some people complain about them. If they don't reply to you, just be patient, and from what I've experienced, they do try and help. But imagine watching over thousands of players, could you do it so easily? I know I couldn't. :) They do their best.

I think it's mostly the HOSTs that get the complaints, not the VMKs, and that's probably because they're very busy running their events and so don't have as much time to spend being nice to players.

I think you have a point, Neo. But people also complain that VMK Staff doesn't reply, which for me, is a lie.

My favorite staff is VMK_Red; during last Xmas, I gave her a cheap (very late) Xmas present, and she gave me something very huge in return.

They may not reply to you, but usually there are alot of people that are in that room. Lots of people want to talk to the staff in that room, so they may not see your chat because they are typing. Staff are always nice to all members.

They ban my best friend for 10 years

Staff do not hand out bans just because they feel like it or have some quota to meet. While ten years might be a long sentence, I am sure your friend did something to deserve the ban. If your friend did not, I am sure it will be overturned with the proper appeal. I have met quite a few staff members including some that no longer work on VMK. I play pirates with HOST_Lily on almost a daily basis. I gots mad glove for Lily!

I like most staff....well actually I like all the staff I've met.

I haven't seen all of them, but I've seen Song, Runo, Lion, Red, Mocha, Willa and then of course the HOSTS.

I've talked to most of them, but I've been ignored by a couple too. Not that I care.

XD If you saw me a while back in the Blue Bayou, Runo came in one night and I started saying I loved him and stuff because I was all hyper and stuff. So now my signature states: Hello, can I have a Monte Cristo with a side of Runo please? :)

When I said it out loud before I made it my signature, Runo told me that I made a couple staff memebers laugh. ^^ I think they need a good laugh sometimes.

VMK_Bingo is my friend's friend's cousin, and I'm pretty positive that isn't a lie. She talked to my friend on my friend's friend's character once, but I am not so sure...It may be a lie. I'm really confused now. e_o

I have never had to use the contact me button (touch wood!) and whenever I see VMK Staff in a public room they are usually aft/working, so I cannot comment there. But if I come across one of the Hosts in a public room then you cannot ask for nicer or more helpful people. They try so hard to answer all the questions. The only times I have met one (no name!!) being 'not nice' was in the Host Games - BUT they must have been so stressed it is understandable. Try meeting and greeting and answering questions to over 200-300 people in three hours and trying to get more through at the same time! I couldn't do it and be very nice at the same time. His/Her answers are short and to the point which might seem rude, but are not. If anything trying to talk to a Host during a game is rude and selfish to other players (personal opinion) as it holds up the queue. You are there to play a game not chat. You only need to say Hi, What do I do plz? and Thanks!

I sent out a HELP because somebody was following me, i do not know how, and they very rudely replied, "Ya'll better figure this out on your own!" I thought it was like options they just click. Many hosts do not say ty or anything, they are very full of themselves. almost all testers are nice and VMK!

Ok so i reported this person for i forgot what... and i got the message saying thanks for reporting blah blah.. and then i sent back a message saying..
Np :D im glad to help. and then i got back a message that said :)
and then i asked.. Which staff are you? your very nice :D
and i got a message back that said.. Im VMK_Zoo :D i thought that that was very cool that a staff talked to me through the help button :P Hehe

Well in the contact us buton i get a reply as soon as i send it its wierd.My favorite staff is VMK_Runo but thats because i see him everywhere.... another wierd thing.

Most staff members I have met are wonderfull, but then again I have only met and spoke with about three of them usually in dance lines or talking to someone about their behavior.

Some of my friends and I all gathered in a room to do our own closing dance and HOST_Lily came in to visit with us. She decided to act like a pirate and do pirate magic saying she was trying to fit in, not as a host. While in that room we were dancing and saying that we were having a dancing competition and saying no one could compete with our moves (since they are all the same) and Lily just kept laughing. We had a great time.

There have been times where other hosts have read my questions and simply said sorry I have no idea what your talking about and moved on to another person's questions. They didn't have any major events going on, just a quest where you go in and out of the room. For the most part they are extremly nice though.

I did that once, but I got the "please only use the help too for emergencies only". I guess VMK_Zoo was just bored. I don't really like talking to the in-game staff members, they're getting big headed? I only like to talk to mocha, hula, red, and caffedawg, as they're kind and actually help, sit in public rooms and help out.

lol vmk_eagle must like pirates, ive played her 2 times in a row. then came back a few days later and she was playing again. but staff are nice to me. but if u report a bug hrough contact us they take a while to respond.

I don't always get responds really fast, it really just depends on the order they receive them, or maybe they are afk.

She most probably thought you were asking her to boot people, so she booted you because she thought you were being rude.

Not being mean or anything, but how would the Host know you were only going to be 2 seconds or 2 hours?? If it was for a Host game then other people could be coming in. In my opinion it was you who was being rude by not paying attention to your character, not the Host who was only trying to be fair to the other people in the queue.

Well, we can't all be on when people want us to. Something things happen in real life, and, if it wa important, then that would not be rude.

VMK Staff are usually nice to me. I just met VMK_Willa and she jokes around in Main Street. Actually, she is pretty fun. VMK_Mocha is also very polite and nice. She visited one of my rooms and had to leave because of the mob of people surounding her.

That last sentance is probably why they snap at people sometimes. Their job is really.. annoying. Say they go into a room, MOBS of people come at her! She is just human!! They probably get frustrated after awhile and get so frustrated they snap at everyone. I would too if I were staff.

Yes, I agree, the HOSTs are usually the ones that are meaner. Phinny is really nice though. I think that the nicest staff out there is either Phinny or Sunny. Ice, I'll bet the staff are nice to you because you are nice to them. Staff are great to me too - VMK_Koala and QA_caffdawg were both in my room, VMK Testers Celebration, at one time 0_o... Dog stayed for about an hour, then said brb and never came back lol, but she said if I had the room open often she'd visit often :) If you all want the staff to be nice to you, be nice to them in return - some staff also get bugged alot because of all the questions, so be patient and wait your turn, then ask/tell them something. Also if you have to brb in a host game room, say approx how long. If you're going to be gone about 10 minutes, the hosts will most likely not boot. If you're going to be gone for about 15 minutes, they will. Here's a proposal: I think that all hosts and staff should not boot if someone says brb! If they are gone for more than 10 minutes their character gets disconnected anyway from being inactive... Who's with me!?!?!?!?!?!?

That's why I provide VIP prefferred seating in most of my rooms for the staff. But then the mobs gather outside of the ropes, so I say let her breath and if they don't move, I say please move away from the ropes, and if they don't do that I give up lol:D :D :D

Just because i said brb doesn't make me rude, im allowed to leave the computer when i want. They at least could have waited and saw if i didn't show up for like 30 seconds, then it would have been ok if they boot me. And the line was not even progressing because there was a game going on that had just started. o_o

She was in the Inner-Space room? Then she already has her space - she's in it already :D LOL yes, LoLo is a popular staff. I sometimes find her hiding behind things just watching from a distance. Before I realized she was hiding, I yelled "Hi, LoLo! Look everyone, it's LoLo!" Then about a minute later she left lol

Lucky.... I contacted them and they haven't e-mailed me back.... and that was March 3rd last year so I gave up.

I am still waiting for my reply from something I sent in around january 2nd last year O_o

This thread is really creepy to me. It sounds to me that alot of people believe VMK staff to be like super stars or something. I am reading instances of stalking, worshipping, and just physho like behaviour when it comes to any VMK staff. They are regular people that are just working a job. Give them a break! It was a figure of speech. I just meant that if you have to leave your computer for any reason when in a Host game, how about just exiting out the room to give others a chance. It takes long enough to get in and if everyone thinks its ok to "brb" or "afk" inside the room it just doesn't make it fair on others, that's all. I hear of lots of people not even trying to join the queue bc it's impossible for them. Yes, of course you are allowed to leave your computer when you want, I'm just saying that there are times and places when it could be considered rude and unfair to other players.

In short, I don't blame the Hosts for booting. Try thinking from their perspective rather than "OMG a Host has just booted me! How mean." They are trying their best considering the circumstances. (By the way I'm trying to say this in a nice way and not angry/arguing way just in case it's coming across wrongly).:)

you know i was once in a room with my best friend ever (and i know she would not boot me) and a staff came in i cant think of what one but anyways. i was siting there and just talking to my friend and the host came in and he booted me. and i know my friend did not because she was on the phone with me >_< made me so mad ...

I don't like VMK Staff, they simply only give Community Leaders every thing they want and don't pay attention to us players, one time I reported someone for being mean to me.. I get this message back: You are banned from VMK..

Staff does not give cl's "everything they want" no matter what you wish to believe. Staff DOES NOT trade to anyone, this includes cl's. If you happen to see staff somewhere and say hi to them, they may not respond because they are WORKING. Cut them some slack, they do have to answer the help button and that comes before talking to anyone, player or cl.

All of the staff members I've met have been nothing but friendly and helpful. I've found the hosts to be absolutely amazing and I think they do a fantastic job running fun games, giving out neat prizes, and doing their best to answer about a million questions at the same time. I haven't met too many of the VMK_ staff walking around, but the ones I have met have been very nice and seemed more than willing to help.

But there's something to remember - we're playing VMK for fun, but while the staff members may love VMK, for them, it's also a job and they're at work. I've seen staff members spending time with guests, chatting and patiently answering questions, but I've also seen staff members enter a room, say hello, and leave. If staff members don't stay and chat with you, it probably isn't that they don't want to, but they can't because there are things they HAVE to do to keep VMK a safe and fun place to play.

I think it really all depends what day it is. If it's a slow day for them, sure, they'll be nice and visit your room, etc. If it's a busy day, you probably won't get your reply for a while.

Sometimes I see a community leader helping the host run the game. It's that same community leader all the time though that I see. I think it's unfair for this kind of favoritism.
