I really don't understand the appeal of turkey legs as a theme park snack food. I mean, with all the popcorn, churros, corn dogs, ice cream, and other yummy goodies, why would I want a turkey leg?! gone_batty 01-16-2007, 01:53 AM ok how many of yall are just in love with the turky legs? i know i am I love the turkey legs! One of those fills me up for a long time, and with all the protien, I don't have to worry about the dreaded sugar crash. That's no fun at all when I'm at the park. Oranges 01-16-2007, 02:11 AM Eh.. no. I had a bad experience with them. Let's just say I saw a family at the Beauty and the Beast stage show masticating them. Gross. ~Oranges WafflePrincess 01-16-2007, 02:21 AM I loved them. Until I learned that they are actually Emu legs! :| I learned that from my mom's friend who used to be in charge of the food for some hotels. Believe me or not, I'm still not going to eat them anymore >_< Eviie 01-16-2007, 02:24 AM I loved them. Until I learned that they are actually Emu legs! :| I learned that from my mom's friend who used to be in charge of the food for some hotels. Believe me or not, I'm still not going to eat them anymore >_< Ehwwwww! OMG thank goodness i never ate one. Emu ... GROSS! [Just in case you guys that don't know what an Emu is they are like Ostrich's] EDIT: Picture of an Imu http://www.fun4children.com/animals/emu/img/emu.gif Hmm idk Emu doesn't have much meat.. spot41414 01-16-2007, 02:29 AM I think she was being sarcastic.. I do not eat turkey legs. Legs=Blech. I don't like drumsticks either. ~Spotty WafflePrincess 01-16-2007, 02:30 AM Ehwwwww! That's why I said believe me or not ;) It's what my mom's friend said DerekJ 01-16-2007, 02:39 AM That's why I said believe me or not ;) It's what my mom's friend said Would be rather hard to believe, as I've had ostrich, and it's inedibly dry when roasted, but makes an amazing and cholesterol-free hamburger substitute when ground and barbecued. (And this coming from a fan of the "Fantasia" ballet.) ...Still, emu would be cheaper than turkey. GraspingClaw 01-16-2007, 02:40 AM Not I. I really don't understand the appeal of turkey legs as a theme park snack food. I mean, with all the popcorn, churros, corn dogs, ice cream, and other yummy goodies, why would I want a turkey leg?! You forgot frozen bananas. CutiestAngel 01-16-2007, 06:29 AM ROFL!!! You sounded hilarious there! Nasty cave-man food. Nothing grosser than seeing someone walking around gnawing on one. HAHA! You surely make my day DsnyManiac 01-16-2007, 07:16 AM I will never eat a Turkey Leg. Why? Because they look greasy and really unhealthy. My grandmother said that they MIGHT take Turkey legs out of Disney Theme Parks. But thats my Grandma and her Magazines. Neoteny 01-16-2007, 09:34 AM You forgot frozen bananas. And I know how much you love them. I believe I included those under the umbrella of "other yummy goodies." StitchMad 01-16-2007, 09:45 AM I'm so surprised at how many people don't like them. I don't have them much anymore. I first went to Florida when I was 3. They were about $2 at the time. Not they're at about $7? I have pretzels and churros more. But I LOVE turkey legs. :) StacyA 01-16-2007, 02:55 PM I'm so surprised at how many people don't like them. I don't have them much anymore. I first went to Florida when I was 3. LOL! I could hardly read that because i was laughing so much. >_< Well, since i have never been ever to experience a turkey leg from Disney, I don't know what to say. But I still love them. :P And just so you know, My favorite place in the world is Disneyland, although i have never been there. My fear is to go there and have it be way less than I expected, one of the reasons i haven't gone. I'll stop before i get too off-topic. -.- soccergals 01-17-2007, 02:47 AM I don't understand what's so great about a turkey leg. It's a portable slab of meat you walk around knawing on at Disneyworld. Even if it wasn't so gross, I still wouldn't eat it, as I am a vegetarian. PirateMario 01-17-2007, 02:53 AM Turkey Legs are awesome! I never tried the Disneyworld ones, but I have a Feeling that the ones from my State Fair are the same!
