Hi I was just wondering if anyone here does films no not the big budget kinds like the ones in cinemas...just little short ones like of your friends and stuff or your own versions of music videos or clips from tv shows or movies with music in the background or video diaries. Does anyone do that? I really want a Video Camera for my bday so I can make my own films and stuff does anyone here do that? :)

well on my computer I can put pictures together and make a video and have music and stuff.

LOL, I do that with my friends and counsins all the time! I don't do it so much with my cousins because my cousin with the video camera, is very rude and wants too be the main character in all of them, she isn't even much of an actress, LOL.

I occasionally use my digital camera/video camera to make silly videos. :D

Well when I first started out as an actress I did them with my theatre friends. We used to have soo much fun! Now I am always gone and performing so I don't see them much:( But yeah now I am pretty much sometimes on big cinema movies. And/or on broadway.

My friend's dad is a computer graphic
person thingy, and we get to help him
alot. He uses animations like Shrek and
Finding Nemo. Something like that

I'll make films, as long as I'm not the one acting, and I'm the one who gets to direct, and temp-track the score.

Yup, I make movies all the time with my friends. They're always pretty fun to do.

This thread inspired me too buy a Video Camera with my Christmas and Birthday money! It's a DVD camera, you can just get a memory stick and download it on the computer! My brother and I are planning on making videos for our baby cousin whom lived across the country from us, so she can know us better. :) It cost $399 at Circuit City, there were some cheaper ones, but this one has high quality and has a touch screen. The high quaility is what the sales guy said so I am going with it!

Woot! Now my cousins can't use having camera against me! Thanks Jdrocks for making this thread. :)

Me and my friend make films. To music videos, and I model, and what not.
So we are planning to do a few vids, here...saturday, and sunday...and Friday night.

I'm quite savvy with Adobe Premiere and After Effects. I've put together videos for a local organization with credits, music score, and special effects. My recent venture was figuring out how to "rotoscope" a lightsaber effect. Tedious, but I finally got it down!

Otherwise, I am pretty good with Windows Movie Maker and a little program called: PhotoJam, if you are wanting a picture slide show. As well as PowerPoint.

I actually do some stop-motion animation ^_^ It's a lot of fun, and I would reccomend it for anyone! I'm still working on test clips right now, but I hope to (once I'm better at it) make a shortfilm by the end of this year (one of my resolutions. lol).

I make loads of crazy videos. I actually made one of my attacking a wall. Yeah, That didn't exactly go as I planned it would, The wall is just so darn tough. xD
