It's great to have a new land, but it sure does throw off the symmetry of the map. We're starting to get cluttered here. How long before Mickey's Toontown is added to the Fantasyland side to balance things out?

Only the Monorail Station and Haunted Mansion rooms, so far. There's also apparently a way to ebter Club 33, but we haven't discovered it yet. It's early; give us a chance. :)

I'm trying to see if you can get tickets to hidden New Orleans Square rooms by playing Haunted Mansion, similar to how you get magic keys playing Pirates. But unfortunately, everybody is just looking at the new rooms and nobody is playing mansion.

"Club 33" is a by invitation only restaraunt in New Orleans Square at DLR - if you take the "In His Footsteps" tour you get to see the lobby if nothing is going on.

Woot it's look beautiful and I loved it! One thing about the new castle fireworks game It's WAY too fast for me. I wish it was just slowed down a bit and you don't get a lot of credits like you did before. I came in 4th place and only get 266 credits very little from before. I'm now checking out the new monorail station.

I'm in agreement with jsmall... I'm floored. I didn't think they'd bring out NOS. But, it happens to be my favorite land in any Disney park... I find myself hanging out there more often than not.

Blue Bayou
New Orleans Square
Haunted Mansion Lobby
Now as you notice it is smaller than the other lands, but it so cool and very interesting.

i like the Club 33 idea! Kind of cool, an exclusive party for players with invitations! Woot, that's going to be very interesting! Odds are the "invitations" are really single-use tickets.

It is absolutely awesome - I love it!!

The VMK Pass works brilliantly too, have used it five times already and no hiccups.

Shame the NPC gator is in the cafe where people are eating/sitting down - it means you can't get in to get your credits, that was slightly bad planning, but maybe it will get better in time.

Yay! Went into Yavn's Club 33 and he showed off his flying carpet magic - so cool!

Missing the spell room already :( but Host_Sparky said it has gone for good - I hope not.

I noticed the same thing when I was in the gallery. The purple sign is the interesting one. There is a new Jester hat and some kind of grayish green shield for your hair - at least that's what it looks like to me.

I agree, i had a lot more fun creating a techno sound with the monorail mixer than i do creating a Dj street-party sound with the main street music mixer. Also, i found it easier, meaning it's easier to blend sounds together.

See, some how players will be given a code word and tickets for the Club 33 room (not all players though, "special" ones over time). These tickets will end up working like the new single-use tickets. See, i figure what you have to do is go up to the Club 33 door in the New Orleans Square (while wearing the ticket like a pin) and say the code. Then, the door will open. This way, everybody learns the code word, but only people with the ticket (capable of being used for a certain amount of days) can actually enter. This should be interesting.....

my 3 guesses:


1. Doing something as a player that makes you stand out (Kind of like the Star Pin. You're respectful, nice, friendly, help out, etc.

2. Random give-a-ways

3. Games such as random trivia or yavn quests

What i really hope is, if you get picked, you can give away 3-10 extra tickets so your friends can join you

sorry, i didnt manage to get pics because so many questions were being asked. Anyway, here are details i found out about Club 33 through HOST_Sparky:

1. HOST_Sparky said it will be used for certain host events

2. He confirmed my question going along the lines of "will this room be used by certain players with ' invites ' from certain events or something similar?" He replied with a yes but the details are still being worked out.

Now we know a little more about Club 33. Enjoy it while you can, after this week is over, we won't be able to easily click on the room and enter it.

Ther is no longer a certain amount of players that can enter a queve. Because of this, they have created vmk pass for guest rooms. With it, you can simply just wait the old fashioned way, or click "vmk pass" after entering queve, and you get to play vmk while waiting with a little "pass" on your screen. I'ts explained somewhere on the actual vmk site i believe.

It would really be cool if the VMK Gallery was a shop. They should sell collectible room decorations!

If you knew how hard it is to get into the real Blue Bayou Restaurant at Disneyland, and how expensive it is, you might appreciate VMK's version a little more. Be glad we don't have to make reservations weeks ahead of time, or empty our virtual wallets..... ;)

I like the idea of the gallery being a shop. They could even sell limited editons of rare things every once in a while for ridiculous amount of credits.

I love the new land at VMK, I was so excited it was New Orleans Square, this is my favorite land of all the Disney Parks.

The only thing about the new land that I don't like is the fact that it is so... out of place. Don't get me wrong; I like the new land and all, but it just seems like Yavn rushed it a little much. They have three rooms, and one of those was already made, The Haunted Mansion Lobby. When you look on the map, it just seems like they barely squeezed it in there. Although they made a "virtual path" going from from Frontierland to New Orleans Square, it still looks a bit crowded.

As for the statement of "Mickey's Toontown Fair," I must say that the odds aren't looking as well as you - and me - have hoped. When the newsletter came out and explained the "VMK Pass," there was a room that was related to Mickey's Toontown Fair. I have asked numerous times to VMK Staff about this release, and they have said many many times that this does not mean anything, it was just a clever plan to get you and me excited. I believe that someone on this fourm (Please correct me if I'm wrong.) has talked to Yavn or a VMK Staff member, and has made a thread about it, and the conclusion was that Mickey's Toontown Fair was most likely NOT going to be released.

Although, VMK does have a Toontown Fireplace, that oddly looks almost exactly like a Toontown item, or at least, more than I expected it to. The Toontown Fireplace might be a hint, saying that Mickey's Toontown Fair might actually be on VMK. The biggest problem I see, however, is the maximum amount of things you can have one one map. I cannot picture Mickey's Toontown Fair being added anywhere on the map, and I really don't think that having two maps would be the most accurate thing to do, because the other map would be empty, with only one land. It doesn't really make sense to have that, you know?

Yes, or a game. And there is room on the Frontierland Map, a place holder, for something. So that will be something to look forward too.

Oh it just came to me, that place holder where Mansion USED to be... Shooter game... wild wild west shoot em up???? :)

now if only we could get an up-close image of the gallery items, like we now do with pins
Yes, I was surprised that this feature was not already included. It'd be nice to get a better look at the items in the gallery.

i really love the new setup with the orleans squair its really peaceful and relaxing.. you can hear the birds churping and everything and i love gator waitor i think its cool how he asks what you wnat to order :)

Now that we have New Orleans Square... do you think we will have a Mardi Gras celebration? When is that, by the way, in February or March? I wonder what kind of celebration they might have. I am guessing that it will be nothing like the real Mardi Gras in New Orleans (e.g., no drinking, no flashing, et cetera).... but it would be pretty cool if they had beads! Maybe they will have bead necklaces for sale.

It's great to have a new land, but it sure does throw off the symmetry of the map. We're starting to get cluttered here. How long before Mickey's Toontown is added to the Fantasyland side to balance things out?

It does look cluttered, unless they get rid of the Guest Room tiny little blue sign, at the top of the map and put Mickey's Toontown. Then put the land on the big map on the Fantasyland side. So you'll still be able to acess the Guest Room option at the whole map.

ALSO: A nice addition though, would be to have a New Orleans Store . . . heh.

But vmk did do ALOT of cool new stuff . . I'll let them take their break. . . for a few weeks . . ;)
