Hello, I just recently received harvest moon for the dc as a Christmas gift and I need some help. I know all the basics and I know what to do but I have a few questions/problems and was wondering if anyone can help.

1.) How do you talk to people who live in the valley? Every time I press A we have short conversations and when I press A again they repeat what they said before.

2.) How do I get ducks? I have chickens but when I dial poultry farm ducks aren't an option.

3.) Is there any way I can get spotted black and white cows? I only have brown ones.

Hmm I haven't played the 1 on the game cube but it's probably slightly different but the same concept.

I didn't even know they had a HM for DS. I should buy it!
