The Year of a Million Dreams
My question is, have you gotten a prize from the Dream Team?

What I found out:
The Dream Team is a group of Cast Members that go around the park giving out prizes randomly to celebrate the Year of a Million Dreams. Often the prizes include Dream Mickey ears (pictured), Dream FASTPASSES, and from what I've heard, lanyards with rare pins, even Annual Passes and exclusive use of the park!

I have never actually seen the dream team, but from what I hear, they wear bright blue suits and Cast Member badges.

Nobody knows when or where they will appear and give out prizes. In fact, THEY don't even know! They get a call on their radio that tells them what to give out and where. They do give out Dream FASTPASSES (which is a card that has one FASTPASS for every FASTPASS ride) at the exits of rides.

I have gotten a pair of Dream ears like the ones above. I did not see the dream team, however. I was looking for them, and asked around. This information was compiled from what they told me. I got my ears from some very nice Japanese tourists, who I tried to ask. Needless to say, I am much better at reading and writing Japanese than speaking it.

If you know anything about the Dream Team, have gotten a prize, have a picture to share, or anything else related to the Dream Team, please share! Also, if any of the above information is incorrect, please tell me and I will fix it.

I recently got the Dream FASTPASS tickets - coincidentally, they gave them to us minutes after park opening.

However, I could call them "Dream" FASTPASS tickets if they were unlimited use, but hey, I can dream, can't I? :Tongue:

One of them gave my sister a Dream Tinkerbell Wish Pin for her Lanyard it is a very rare pin for it.

We happened upon the Dream Team in Disney's California Adventure just after they ran out of ears. :(

We got one of the Tinkerbell pins too! They're really nice.

Me and my sister got Annual Passes!! Yay!

I got Cloud Ears, in the future, since I go very very often, I know I will get the Lanyard, the Fastpasses, and some good things! I really hope for free Annual Passes and the Mickey Mouse Penthouse!

I have seen the fast passes first hand and they are cards that you wear around your neck. They are rather large. I saw many of them in line for rides while we were at WDW during Christmas. Other prizes were as you stated, but you missed a big 1. They randomly select a family each week to stay in the castle apartment for free. Yes thats right for free.

Whoever has pics of all these neat prizes let me know

Nope, those ears are not for sale. Well, not officially, anyway. There's always eBay.

I've seen the Dream Fasspasses and tried to get them by going to DLR right at opening. We stayed at a hotel the night before just for fun, but no passes :(. Hehe, there were like no one in line when we went. Anyways, I don't think that they would hand out the fasspasses because basically it would be like giving out free money. I'd like one of those pins ;). Do the Cast members wear lanyards?

I just went to disney... i got fastpasses and I was on Primeval Whirl and a cast member went up to my sister and told us not to get off the ride, that we were able to go on the ride again!!! That was pretty awesome. Hopefully when I go in March I get some other prize...

They're completely different. The hat you can buy at the park is dark blue, with silver ears and blinking lights:

My wife and I got to ride It's a Small World by ourselves. That was fun! Everybody on the dock was staring at us and wondering what was so special about us that we got our own boat. :)

Another other great prize you can get is, spending the night in th castle. Call me crazy but it's true!

I see a TON of people with the Dream FASTPASSES, in DLR, but my question is, are the FASTPASSES for both parks, or only the park you are in?

The ones we got at DLR were for both parks. It is actually two separate fastpasses that hang back to back. The dream fastpasses have tabs for the various rides and when you use it for that ride they break off that tab. Also not all rides with fastpasses have tabs on the dream fastpass.

In WDW each park has its own fastpass and you're given only the one for the park you're in. We got one for Magic Kingdom over spring break that made it a nice day

I was hit up by the dream team on my christmas trip! They were in the Raindeer roundup, holiday only, kinda place, and I got the year of 1000 dreams pin!

Perhaps some of the funding they were counting on was cut short, so they had to reduce the amount of dreams being granted. Or it was just a typo.

i went there in january and got a pin lanyard and pins while in que for tower of terror my entire hockey team won :D nice lanyard too

I got one from the dream team. They're not given out as much as fast-passes are. So they're are fairly rare.

Dream Fast Passes at WDW are good only in the park they are awarded in, if you win at Magic Kingdom they are only good at Magic Kingdom that day. The Dream Lanyard and Pin Set include two pins. And the Dream Ears are the ones pictured with the clouds. There are many prizes being given away, just a week or so a 17 yr. old won the Grand Marshall prize, this is the big prize that will take him and his family around the world to each of the Disney Parks around the world to be Grand Marshall in the parades. This includes, Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland, and Hong Kong Disneyland. What a lucky kid. His parents thought he was telling a tall tale when he called to tell them he had won. Hahaha!

I got the tinkerbell pin and a dream fastpass. My cousins got to stay in the mickey suite without me!! I was so jealous but they gave me some pics and stuff!

My family and I got visited by the Dream Team. :)
