Ello, VMKF. Does anyone love the Sims 2? Post all about it here!

Sims 2 is my favorite game in the world, (that reqiures a disk of course), to play. I have every one of the released expansion packs except the new Holiday disk that I am planning to get, and is completely useless until.......... Drum roll please........ SEASONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! comes out. Seasons is an expansion pack that allows seasons to happen in PleasantView, Veronaville, Strangetown, or where ever you live on the Sims! You can set a certain household's seasons. All the houses will be on different seasons because if you play another house and dont play another house, the game won't continue until you play on that second house so the seasons cannot change. So, who else is obsessed?

I have all the new and old The Sims games. Except for the Holiday Pack. So Fun!

I play sims two too.
Favorite Expansion? Erm, University? I have them all.
I like the neighbor hoods in order from most to least: Strangetown, Veronaville, PleasentView.
I love downloading custom content.

I might be getting the Sims. I played it at a friends house and I fell in love. I can't wait till I get it.

Most likely Pets. Brings a new experience to the whole game. I can't wait for Seasons! Sounds like so much fun.

Search the Sims 2:Seasons in google and go to all the links. You'll find the coolest pictures, Twisty!

MissMeows, instead of getting plain old Sims, get Sims 2! The graphics are so amazing, very life-like!

The expansion pack that I dont really care for is Glamour life, it did not seem to change the game a whole lot.

The Sims Pets is 25$ including tax. I got it for my friend. She really loves The Sims too :)

I love the Sims. I use it to poke fun at characters from shows. XD

I like The Sims 2, but I prefer the original anyday. There's more intuitive expansion packs for the original, and I LOVE the "Makin' Magic" pack.

i got the sims 2 and all the old ones but i think sims pets was a dumb idea bc all u do is go out find animals and heal them. might as well have called it vetrinary sim

There are reasons why it's rated T, but there are ways to not get into the "mature" situations.

I have sims2, but I don't really play it because IT'S SO SLOW for me! I like the Sims Online more. The only expansion I have for sims2 is University, which is even slower. When I do play, I play in PleasentView.

Is Sims 2 a computer game, or PS2 game?

I did see it on Nentendo DS also.

And, what is Sims online?

It comes on a lot of platforms. I prefer the computer version.

Yes, I am confused @_@ I only have one computer game and I still don't know how to work it. It says it is three games in one. But, i really don't know >_<

The computer version is the best to me, by far. It's easiest to work, at least I think. It is rated T, but there are many situations that you can EASILY avoid. It goes slightly slow on my computer, but I deal with it.

Sew, I think the Sims 2 website has some directions for it. If not, search for a guide in google or another search engine.

I have both sims 1 and sims 2.I'm addictted to Sims 2.My favorite EP(expansion pack) is Pets.I'm missing a few of the EPs for TS2(the sims 2).I'm missing OFB,Family fun,and Glamour life.

OFB? What's that, Scarlet Princess? Glamour life isn't THAT cool, unless you use your formal clothes a lot. Family fun is cool, because it adds stuff for the kids of the family. SEASONS COMES OUT FEBRUARY 27TH!!!! I know it's a little early to be excited but... Oh well. Something to look forward to! :D

OFB means open for business.I aslo love making cc(custom content).I've made this paint shirt with paint splashes,and a bridesmaid dress, and a few others.I'm also starting a legacy(10 generations of sims).I'm on generation 2.And Seasons!YES!!!I'm so happy!Have you seen the plant people?

i have sims2 and sims 2 pets on both computer and Ds. pretty kewl.. i also have sims Urbz for advance. i used to have sims bustin out, but the evil chicken gives me nightmares to this day.. i also had the old sims, but i didn't like not being able to have kids grow up. Making magic expansion pack was awesome though!


EDIT: i also had the superstar, pets, and vacation expansion pack in the first one. Also the open for buisness in the sims2. I also had the bustin out for game cube, and my cuz has the urbz for gamecube.

Open for Business is a cool expansion too. I think Seasons will definitely change the game the most, and it might even get annoying, but I'm really excited for it. One of my Sim families, The Brookes, have five generations of Sims :D

Yes, I liked the Makin Magic, that was probably the best EP. You know what EP I really liked for the regular Sims? The Vacation one. That was so cool... They should do one for the Sims 2.

She works at a cafe, and has a chair store.. heh @_@
Kristen also has a dog, Hollie. Hollie is a Newfoundland.. and knows all tricks but " play dead ".. Hollie does not have a job, and I dont think I will get her one.

Now that I am talking all about Sims 2, I think i will go play it, and teach Hollie to play dead.. :)

Yeah vacation was awesome. I liked the dating one too.I'm glad they made that one for TS2.And so far I haven't seen Ms.Crumblebottom.(sp?)

Sims Online is the Sims... Online, meaning that there are other REAL people out there playing with you. There are neighborhoods, and you do your job with other people. It's really cool, kinda like VMK.

I love the motherlode cheat code.And sometimes I use kaching.

I used to use cheat codes for money A LOT. But now, I don't really like to because it makes the game less fun, at least for me. The only time I cheat is when I'm desprate and need to buy a crib or something neccesary that I dont have the time to get money for when I need it.


I have a question though: I have Sims 2 open for business, and some of my sims own make over businesses out of their home. Sometimes the Sims let me make the customers over, and other times the sims do it themselevs and make customers look like clowns! How can I stop this?

And hey, did you notice that all the Ad's on the top of this page are for Sims 2? I wonder how that works..

i used to use motherlode (50,000simolens), but now i onlu use kaching (1,000 simolens), but i usually only use it when i first move in so that i can buy everthing :)

LOL Yes, motherlode is especially nice, i just love pets, lol im obsessed with it, hehe i got it for christmas. Im not so keen on the seasons one, or open for business so i wont get them.

I use it if I'm making a house or when they don't have enough money for..say a fridge or something like that.Though sometimes I use it for something else.I usually get my sims a job and they get money on their own.My favorite town is Pleasantview or Strangetown(I like them about the same).I don't own open for business but,I know that the better the badge you have in cosmetolegy,the better chances your sim will let you give them a makeover.

Haha, cheats are awesome when I'm super lazy with my Sims, and want them to avoid their daily activities so they can do other things I planned for them.

I love the boolprop cheat. So much to do with it!

i go on a site that has all the cheats for like every game in the world, and game walkthroughs too! i have printed out lots of cheats.. Best cheat is maxmotives, but u can only use it once you get an expansion pack :)

I like what you can do with boolprop,but I hate the chance that it could cause the game to crash.I've only used it a few times and love the possiblities.Maxmotives is pretty cool,but I like forcetwins(gives you twins ) or at least I think that's what it's called.

Oh I know the problem!To much custom content or meshes.That used to happen to me all the time.So I stopped downloading cc for a while and deleted a few things and it got better.

The plant people looked very cool.... Especially the toddler :) I am NOT buying the Sims 3. I just spent, what, $200 on all my EP's? Sims 3 better not come out for at least eight months.

xD My best friend introduced me to the Sims. My friends and I were working on a business project (we were working on a fashion designing thingy) and for the "models" she used Sims.

At first, I thought Sims for gameboy advance was the best. XD HORRIBLE GRAPHICS. I now have Sims 2: Pets.

Your children Sims will be able to make snowmen, snow angels, and have snowball fights.

If you have the Open-For-Buisness Exp Pack, there will be a Gardening and Fishing Talent Badge to earn!

Your sims will basically do everything you do durring the Seasons!

Me can't wait till Seasons too. ^_^ I have all the expansion packs, except season! Can't wait for it to snow in The Sims 2!

I haven't played the second one but on the first I always started fires and drowned while having a house party >_< lol... my sister has the second one though so i'll have to try hers.

I recently bought the Sims 2 base game for like, 35 bucks with my christmas money. I'm not sure if I want an expansion pack yet. But like, it's really cool, though the Body Shop doesn't work.

I spent like, two days straight playing it instead of being online. What a shock.

I love all the sims games. I made my person buy a toy shop, and hire people. I hired people, and some started smelling, so I had to fire them :| Then, I was cooking food for my person, then they fall asleep, and the stove catches on fire -.-

I have ALL of the Sims, not 2, disks, probally lost somewhere though, and all of the Sims 2 disks, except the Nightlife and some special one, not the Holiday, but a different one. Is Seasons out yet?
