Before I went on Winter Vacation, at school a took a vote in all 6 of my classes. I asked each student if they like the band Evaescence or would they rather MCR. Lots of people didn't know or never heard of Evanescence so they would just choose MCR. So which on would you want to choose?

If I were to choose one it would deffinaltly be Evanescence because the singer, Amy Lee, is one of my many inspirations in the world. And she haves a unique voice, unlike all of the other singers, you can actually tell if it's her singing.

I would say I would like Evanescence more than MCR but I barely even listen to both of them.

I never even HEARD of the first one, and I never heard any of the other one's songs. :P I am not into this stuff.

uI do not listen to this stuff. I listed to rap. But I chose the first one because I actually listen to her.

I really listen to both evenly, I like amy lee's voice since it is really pretty and stuff o_o and the lead singer dude for mcr(i know his name i can't spell it tho) he just makes his bands songs good with his voice and weirdness

My friend, Adam, showed me the song HELENA from My Chemical Romance. I liked the song and the music video, but I don't like any of their other songs..

I choose MCR. i like them more then evenesence.

Eeek. They're both quite negative. Not my favorites, really. But if I had to choose, I'd say Evanescence (did I spell that right?). Amy Lee has a really pretty voice, and some of the songs are really good. MCR just bugs me... don't ask why. I think they're a bit trashy... although I'm not sure; I don't listen to them. Evanescence is a bit negative and gloomy sometimes, but still pretty. :)

I love both bands, but I like My Chemical Romance better. I can relate better to thier music than I do to Evanescence. Evanescence isn't as easy to relate to as My Chemical Romance, I think.

I love all their songs. But MCR, I don't love them all.
But MCR is really good.

I'd definetly say MCR because the black parade is probably the best album out this year, and I like there music a lot. Evansecences is good, but not as great as MCR. Plus, Evanescence did a cover of a Smashing Pumpkins (band I am a huge fan of) song and did a bad job on it >_< I'm insulted..

I liked Evanescence a lot when they first came out.. Their first album/songs (origin) i actually like better than all the others put together - it has a much darker feel to it.. But I can't stand the new album.. Amy's voice never bothered me as much as it does now, its very whiney sounding to me.. and i can't say i have ever heard/saw a good live performance by her yet, which is very disappointing..

So overall i'd vote for Evanescence as i can't stand My Chemical Romance.. but I do think they waited way too long to release this new album and it is nowhere near as good as the older stuff..
