If you check this page (http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com/index.php/Other_Pins) and look at the Thanksgiving 2006 Pin, you'll see that the wiki is saying that the pin is buyable, but it's not. Also, check the VMK Frontierland Quest Pin and read the information carefully- there's a typo (letter 'r'). Somebody forgot to close the paranthesis in the Mickey Special Pin's info, too. The space tab (on the keyboard) needs to be used in the Captain Blackheart Pin's information, too: between the word 'Characters' or between the paranthesis and the word 'on'. That's all you need to know, it just needs to be edited.

And a question, mods: can this be a thread where people can post if they find a problem (typo, date, name...)? Please message me or post!

I put the pics on there and on Adventureland it turned out ok but I've got little | marks everywhere. But when I take them away it turns out funky. And on Tomorrowland I did the same thing but it turned out.. weird.

I've changed the adventureland (http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com/index.php/Adventureland_Quest#Answers) page so the formatting looks a little nicer, but I'm not sure if this is what you were planning it to look like.

The problem was that you were mixing up a few different concepts. The "thumb" parameter to an image floats it to the right by default, and takes it out of the normal flow of the text.

The | stuff usually is used for tables, and you weren't using tables here. I'm not sure where they came from.

I've converted it to use a table. Feel free to adapt it further at this point and to use it in the other pages. Or lets discuss what you want the layout to look like and I'll see what I can do.

I was copying the format for the pictures above it, because when I took away the | they went to the right, but when I added them, it put it where I wanted it. But it also made the | appear there.

Basically, I added the markup that would let it be a table. Mostly you need the {| before the table, the |} after the table, and the |- before each line. Look also at the parameters I added to the pictures.

I'll be honest - I'd rather not go in and do the edits myself since you seem to have all the info handy and you have the vision in your head what it should look like. :) I want to enable people to do it themselves instead of relying on someone else - you can do it! Give it a shot and let me know and I'll comment if there are issues.

At first it would not work right with the ==titles== and I had to redo. I figured out you cannot add <br> to them because it messess up bad. But before it would not go on a new line, so then I gave up and made tables.

yes unfortunetly ppl will change the info after its been edited to the right info to the wrong info. heres a suggestion dont let ppl edit the wiki. they need to post the correct info so no one gets confused about anything or they get wrong info.

While you can probably post things about other parts of the wiki - it might not do too much good. Unless we're also familiar with what you're proposing to correct, its unlikely we'll make the changes. (I wouldn't touch the ToonTown portion, for example, simply because I have no idea what I'd be changing there.)

Now I've got Fantasyland, Adventureland, and Tomorrowland done.

But I looked through the history of Fantasyland and supposedly someone else "Added spoiler images"

I think the "beta" graphic should be removed from any item which has been rereleased since beta. You can still indicate that the item was available during beta and then retired by using the "released" and "retired" notes, but the presence of the word "beta" on items which are now merely "rare" only confuses people.

That'd still confuse people, I think. Just remove the "beta" graphic from items which have been rereleased, and let people see the release history by the dates.

Of course, Hula's Yard Sale kind of throws a wrench into the whole "beta" thing.

I suggest putting a 're-released beta' tag and put the date when it was re-released, plus a sentence at the end, like: 'Re-released beta is different from beta- their value is less rare' or something like that.

I don't think any of that is necessary. The blue Leota Table, for example, is not beta any more. Its value is roughly equivalent to that of a Heart Chair from Valentine's Day. The Heart Chair was never a beta item. Both the Heart Chair and the Blue Leota Table are retired items now, and neither of them is beta.

Gingerbread Bench is listed twice as retired on the Timeline page. It was actually retired on December 26th, not January 1st.

I was reading the insider-tour section, (Thank you so much for bringing back some awesome memories), you could also get the big thunder mountain train teleporter for answering a question on the tour.
They asked: "Name me some teleporters in VMK", everyone had the chance to shout it out, and they would give you a big thunder mountain card when you did. I was so surprised when I got it. (That's all I went on the tour for!). This question was asked outside Taco Bills, near Splash Mountain.

They also gave everyone a red penny press.
These were distributed to everyone on the wooden pier thing that goes over that water, opposite the candy store now.

Rest of those sections, awesome. Just it says nothing about the two above cards.
As I said before, thanks for bringing back me some awesome memories. :)

Also.. shouldn't the wiki have some info on "up-coming cards"? The pictures of the cards found here (http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100679) would look good on the wiki. :)
As I saw on this page (http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com/index.php/Insider_Tour), it says that you could get the Blue real VMK pin if you turned in the tour card. I have it, would you like a picture to add under the text?

The rewards (http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com/index.php/Rewards) page for the Hidden Mickey II quest needs to be updated. Although the certificate still says it can be redeemed at the park for the Golden Show Designer set, those cards have been retired for quite a while now.

The "credits" card, worth at the most 500 credits, is what Disneyland usually gives now for the certificate. Not positive what WDW is giving.

When I checked the Wiki last night, I noticed that it was missing a few of Fin's If the Slipper Fits Quest questions and (I think) answers. I have the questions and answers from 8 April, 15 April, and 22 April - do you still need them? If you do, should I just post them here or PM them to someone? If I need to PM them, to whom should the PM go?

Destination - there are pics of the VMK people, but not all the hosts have photos yet. You can always post photos in the wiki photo thread. As far as the "not yet released" section . . . some of the items are, indeed, mentioned within the pages of their respective categories (ie: yellow stitch box under "tables", etc.). Others, however, are not. Might be something to look into.

Penguinz - is there something about the format that causes problems for you? Maybe it is something that we can fix or help you with.

It would kind of be nice if these Fantasyland quest pins were actually grouped together somehow too in my opinion but I can also see the value in organizing it as it is now.

Personal opinion, but I don't think we needed a picture of every possible message that could have been shown - especially since they only vary by the name of the prize awarded, and we have that information already shown.

We did this for the sword in the stone magic because it was showing different messages for different things. (And because when you do pull the sword out, its pretty clever.)

I think the hidden mickeys needs an update since no more spell room and no more discovery island and when you go to http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com/index.php/Hidden_Mickeys_Part_2 some of the pics aren't loaded i noticed

The wiki should be updated to note about the increase in credits in the Pirates games now. It's been increased from 100 credits to 200 credits for a win in the game and I think double credits when you hit someone.

The Walt Disney World Disney's Animation Quest is not correct.

The pictures given were for the Disneyland's Animation Quest. If you not the top is says please return the completed quest to the VMK Central in Tomorrowland. And on the bottom the terms are for the Disneyland Resort. I do not know if they are the same answers, but the pictures given were for the incorrect park.

The animation quest images are actually in a separate section of their own and not included in the WDW section of the Animation quest page. Although this does bring up the fact that the quest page is not complete....will need some nice WDW people to help with that :). I do believe Q's are the same but apparently there has been controversy over a particular answer (Three Caballeros vs. Saludos Amigos).

All the Alice Ride items that were in the Emporium are now in the Small World Imports shop. So, the location part for these items needs to be changed.

Also, should the price label be changed from green (In store special) to blue (Disney credits) since the items are not under Specials anymore?

Not sure which picture you mean. I've checked the pictures serveral times, so please check again. QA_EonWrangler has green space, and yavn has green offroad. I think you may be getting a little confused :).

First off, it's good you found these mistakes, it helps us keep it updated to the right facts. Some of what you said though, is already there, or doesn't have facts to back it up. I'm not sure on some of the info you gave, if you had any proof of this, I'd be glad to add it, but because it doesn't seem right to me, I don't want to add it, since it might be wrong. The pirate quests need work (for Pirates Online). There are a lot of mistakes I can see..We are talking about the quests, since there are many ways we can do this. At the moment, we have a quest template, that I am now switching what we had before to it. We are thinking before doing, so we don't need to do as many changes. I have A LOT more quests I still need to upload, but I want to get what we have done, done, so we can then move on. Also, there's more quests still after Story Chapter:The Black Pearl quest. There's a brand new chapter, so I'm told. There's 9 crew members you need for the list, and that's just part of the Story Chapter:The Black Pearl quest. If you have any ideas on the quest setup, let us know, since we are still looking for new ways!

We will probably add them on, but you can't be sure that what you gave us were the actual names, but we will probably use them. Even the ones with no PTP no non-staff player has them, so we can't say that's the actual name. We will add them to the unreleased section though.

We know about this, and we are sorry for the inconveniences this may cause. We are trying to get all the other info on vmk, and other disney sites that's on there, like Pirates of the Caribbean Online, it just opened up a little while ago so some of the editors are really busy on that.

If any of you have any of the pics, please post them here, and we can use them in the wiki (credits will be given to the owner of the pic of course :))

I think this is the right place to post this; I was looking at the Mickey Catagorey, and some of the stuff shouldn't be in there. For example, the Reindeer Hat shouldn't be there. It's not exactly "mickey".

If it has the Mickey Ears then it is Mickey. If you look closely you can see that the Reindeer Mickey Ears have our favorite round Mickey ears! :):wave2:
But thank you for checking those type of things out as we do make mistakes :)

under the Other Pins section i noticed the star of mickey pin says Released: 12 December 2005 Retired: 1 January 2005 VMK was not open on january 2005 ( i think u meant 2006 ;) )

Info for the purple penny press is incorrect. The card from the 20th Century Music Company gives you the red penny press, not the purple one. It is the same card formerly given out at the candy store in Critter Country.

YW One thing I can confirm is that you can save a new mix every 12 hours and get the 25 credits instead of daily. Same timing as the NPCs I guess.

Actually, you can play the mixes every 15 minutes and re-mix or create new songs every 2 hours and get the 25 credit each time. :mickey:

One thing I heard, never really tried it though cause I would always crash, is if you delete all of your songs, then you make a new song. and vmk would think it's your first song so they would give you the 2,000 credit bonus or something like that cause you played your "first song" was never able to try it though because of the crashing. And I heard this happens with the Monorail Mixes. I havent heard it for the Main Street music mix one. ;)

Unlike what the newsletter says, the actual in game name from when the item had first been seen was Blue Surprise Gift (makes sense as the Mickey Present is the Red Surprise Gift (http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com/index.php/Red_Surprise_Gift)).

This page has been in on the wiki since 19 December 2007 when we were able to obtain correct item name information from seeing the item in HOST_ rooms. We are still adding information to the page as the info becomes available.

This isn't a tangent - its a real problem that we have on the wiki. The naming has been wildly inconsistent when it comes to colors. There are several examples where the colors are first, where the word "color" is or isn't included in the name, and various other things.

VMK Promotions: Yeti Vision and Disney Park Pirates should be moved to the Retired section. As of this week, the Arcade page on VMK no longer references the Park Pirates game.
