When I went to the timeline, then to January 18th, it says Blue Winter Beanie, ect. Also when I click that link, it still has the item as Blue.

Well, you're half right, we put it as blue, because in the newsletter that's what it was called when it came out, but then they switched it shortly after we put it in lol. But, when you click on the link, it goes to Red Winter Beanie/Jacket, with a redirected page link, noting the change in name.

Also, we've been discussing this, and we didn't want to delete the blue color pages, because we had proof they were called that at one point, and weren't sure they were called red and not blue now, and we wanted proof, which you provided us. Thanks! Now, we can put a note on the red winter beanie/jacket pages, that it was formally known as Blue Winter Beanie and Blue Winter Jacket.

Also, I'm going to ask about switching the name of the item on the timeline, because it was originally called blue. Thanks for all the help, and thx for pointing this out!

I had to talk to you in chat to figure out where the repeat was, and even then you failed to mention the Princess Hat. Fixed. I hope.

Edit: I hoped too soon. The wiki seems to have a consistency problem on this point. The release/retire dates of black and grey mansion don't agree between the timeline and the item pages. So now we're trying to sort out what really happened.

I had been holding off on this, since VMK has a history of me documenting a change like this, and then them changing their minds minutes later. But given they haven't fixed this gross mistake a day later, I'll try to get this one.

The green ears were never something that players could buy, so we don't have any info about them at all. They are mentioned on the page about staff costumes.

We had a discussion about this and related issues at one point, but never came to a conclusion. We'll try to get this, since we do mark the items. But how far do we want to go? How, for example, do we mark things like the ghosts which are something like lamps? Or the three-way lighting items from the gingerbread? Or the Gingerbread Block that you can stand on without help? So we're trying to work these labels out and hopefully get them auto-categorized after that.

I don't know if you are interested in this. But VMK_Red was in a free room trying to close it earlier and I was able to get a picture of her lanyard. I noticed HOST_Phinny had a day one badge and told her I was surprised to see her having it and that she was in beta. I asked her and she said that you didn't have to be in beta to have a badge, and that she was never in beta.

I found another thing that should be edited:

Pirates of the Caribbean Quest items are not retired. These should be taken out of the Insider Tour Part because they are no longer an Insider Tour Item. (these items include Bird, Fire Walls, Pirate Stools, etc.)

The quest is retired, but not the items, that is correct :). If you look at the items, they are not retired.

We try to keep the history of quests. To do so, we keep the prizes there, this doesn't mean they are retired.

If an item is retired, on the item page there's a column called "Notes". This column gives out info about the item, including it's release, re-release, and retired dates. They say they aren't retired.

Sure would be nice if the additional stars would increase the duration of the effect and not merely reduce the recharge time. I wonder why they choose to design some pins this way.

I edited the myth/rumor on the wiki. I added the note saying the magic was released on February 23rd in the Main Street Magic Shop. Also, the rumor status has been changed to False because the magic was NOT released from the VMK Trading Card Game.

There really is some debating to be done on that old picture of the Stitch Spaceship Magic.

1. The picture CLOSELY resembles the actual pin. This was taken way before the actual pin was released.
2. The name is the same.
3. The magic word is the same.

Taking an educated guess here, I would have to conclude that that picture may just be a prototype design of the pin, later on changed to the state is in now. I'm sure we could debate on this topic for hours and get nowhere.

If you look, you'll see a retired date next to the Shop Button text. We can't completely retire them because they're still available from making a new user.

I just noticed on the Wiki page for Mr. Toad's Car magic that the Recharge and Lasting times are reversed.

It says that the recharge time for a 1* pin is 13 seconds and that the same 1* pin will last for 1:45 minutes... :)

Alright, I was able to make some changes to the Pirates of the Caribbean pages, albeit very minimal pages. Basically added some of the images I had been uploading of different in-game screens. I did add a new page for soley the In-Game instructions on Pirates provided by VMK. Unfortunately many of the edits you suggest were a bit more involved than what I was able to do today but we will keep them in mind for future reference.

Firstly Winch/Wench, I changed all mentions of this ships name to Winch as that is what is portrayed when you go to choose your ship:

The explaination of the 7 credits per level is a bit involved and would require explaination of in-game credit rewarding as well, and is a section that we will hopefully get around to adding in the future.

The awarding of Invisibility magic for the "Old" version of pirates would be great, but it would require us to have a much better section for the old version of pirates. Again, this is something to do in the future.

I have added a very brief ship selection section. If somebody would like to provide "Ship Selection Tips" I would be willing to add these to the section.

Since the dragon won the NPC Election, it gave out 100 credits instead of the normal 20.

Unfortunately many changes like these are ones that will require us to hunt down past images and information on VMKF. We have not been consistently documenting in game image changes such as those that have occured in such public areas as the Sci Fi Dine In, VMK Gallery, VMK Esplanade, and VMK Central just to name a few. If anyone has images/dates/VMKF links regarding information of this sort, it would be most helpful.

Do you mind clarifying a bit? I'm not familiar with any haunted mansion walls. There was the Haunted Mansion Ghost Chasers game (http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com/index.php/Haunted_Mansion_Ghost_Chasers) and the Haunted Mansion Conservatory Guest Room (http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com/index.php/Haunted_Mansion_Conservatory_Guest_Room), but not sure what kind of walls you would be referring to. Also, one of the map loading screens featured a Haunted Mansion attratction wallpaper-esque picture (http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com/index.php/Image:Halloween07MapLoadingSceen.JPG).

Maybe with a little more information I can be of assistance to you?

This is indeed the perfect place to point out mistakes we have made, things we have overlooked, or suggestions on how to make things even better. Your keen eyes have helped us immensely. Too often things get overlooked or mistakes are made and we rely on our users to help us find them :D Unfortunately, with the chaos and barrage of new items that accompanied the closing of VMK, many things slipped through the cracks. We are just now able to start catching them and are grateful for any help we can get!

ETA: I went through my VMK pics the other day, and I know there's been rumor of Audio track furniture in HOST rooms (for events like the March Ride-a-thon), and I found a screenshot I had made in HOST Fin's room shortly before VMK closed. It is a picture of a stereo with a "D" on it. Let me know if you would like it.

Also, the following items can be removed from the Unreleased items page:

In addition to my above finds, I found that the information about the Pink Car 1x Use Magic (http://www.disneyonlineworlds.com/index.php/Autopia_Offroad_Pink_Magic_Pin_Single_Use) is incorrect on that page and Lily's Quest page (http://www.disneyonlineworlds.com/index.php/Questing_with_Hugs_and_Ammo#Tuesday.2C_20_May.2C_2 008).

The Magic word was "Drive!" not "Spaceship!" and the effect was similar to that of the other Autopia magic pins.

I (now that I can ;)) went ahead and added the cooler, campfire*, totems and topper to Accessories; added the radio to Music Producing Furniture under Music; and added the Peter Pan Poster under Accessories.

*I added the campfire here, because the fire is always burning, and clicking it only changed the appearance of the fire... Any disagreements? You can change it ;)

EDIT: You did a great job! Although, I noticed that the Tiki Totem Topper was on top of Tiki Totem Yellow when listed. I switched them around for alphabetical reasons. I can see where you're going at, for when they were templates, that would be correct. Although, for Tiki Totem Yellow, the Yellow is not included in the name; Which would make it in front of Tiki Totem Topper.

Hey, no going back and forth ;) Anyways, just wanted to say that the word "Yellow" is part of the name. All VMK item pages are named after the In-Game name. If we have to denote a color because VMK has failed to (take many of the shirts for example) we put the color in parenthesesis. Either way, we take the color into account when alphabetizing. Unfortunately the VMK naming system has often provided us with funny results when alphabetizing. Take the fact that all the wreaths are scattered on the Posters (http://www.disneyonlineworlds.com/index.php/Posters) or the fact that the pieces of the galleon pirate ship are not together as can be seen in the Furniture Checklist (http://www.disneyonlineworlds.com/index.php?title=Category:Furniture_Checklist&from=Disneyland+Ride+Operator%27s+Scoreboard+Color +Red). It's just one of those things....

Anyways, for consistency with the rest of the wiki, changed the order of the Tiki Totem Topper and the Tiki Totem Yellow on the Accessories page.
