imo the wii controllers is nothing new its been done to death by nintendo, example original nes has pad for track and field. and i think its not what gaming is about today, its about graphics and gameplay, sony has had it right from the start since sega cd and the ps one was out. I also heard some wii's were being recalled, sony is always top of the line.

Xbox 360 all the way. Fantastic graphics, and fantastic games. Gears of War, Perfect Dark Zero, Saints Row (Totally M, peeps), Condemned (Once again, M..), Hitman Blood Money (M...), and Halo 3 on the way. Far better then the Wii and PS3.

Most people don't have gigantic plasma screens which are needed to see the slightest details the PS3 and Xbox 360 provide. On the average TV, Wii's graphics would look just as good. Plus, there aren't any Wii games that are meant to have "perfect" graphics. Nintendo is aiming for user interaction. Here's a quote from my Nintendo Power magazine.

"A game can have as much graphics as possible, and be as realistic as possible, but if you don't feel involved, then why play it?"

Go to eBay if you want a cheap PS3. Like in my previous post, they're around $600 dollars now. Some as low as $500 something...
I noticed most of them started out at around $20.....heh.

PlayStation 3 is a nice system so far and it is a big difference in the quality and the little portable is also a good addition to get with the PlayStation 3 system but I do agree on the $599 price tag before tax for the upgrade system was a little high.

i agree with pinkpinknicole. its not nintendos fault that the tv's are broken its the users faults, they should be putting the wrist straps on their hands so they won't let go of it. i mean its not there for the fashion its there so you won't let go of the remote.

I vote Wii. PS3 is lacking a rumble feature, which is sad. It feels wrong to be playing a game w/o rumble. Plus, some of these systems aim towards a specific audience, like PS3 is all about war and shooting. And maybe racing. Xbox.. eh, I'll give it credit for xbox Live, but pretty much nothing new going on there. Wii, however, has satisfactory grahpics, great gameplay, innovative controllers, and aims towards a large audience. (That includes war and shooter games) And, by the way, the controllers were not being recalled, only the straps. ANd you don't have much of a problem unless you don't hold on the the controller, and swing it around furiosly.

Wii has one issue and it's the strap. They have made steps to fix this issue. Nintendo is offering to replace the original version of the wrist straps for the Wii Remote with a newer version. All you do is go to the Nintendo site and give them your information then they will send you other strap at no cost.

We have a Wii?! Wii are happy with it. :) I can't justify spending over 600 dollars on a PS3 system and buy games on top of it. So, it's HiDef and for that you'll pay top dollar now. I'll wait till it drops in price and keep my money. PS3 is not worth it.

The 360 has a web cam for live video chat, waireless headset for online play, and the first ever force feedback wireless steering wheel. Also, if your into HD movies then upgrade to an optional HD-DVD player. Xbox Live is also the bomb, for a max of $50 a year you can play games online. Yeah, the PS3's might be free, but I bet it is not as good. Microsoft is a Software giant, they know how to do some cool stuff. Oh yeah, next year will the PS3 be able to play PC gamers? not! I agree, although I personally play video games to relax. I am getting a XBox 360 tomorrow, and that is the best system in my eyes. It has the best games, at the decent price, and has very good capabilities. Plus, nobody can beat the combo of Halo and Gears of War.

Gotta pick the Wii, Here is why.

Nintendo is has always come out with the best gaming systems to me, and the new Wii controller is awesome. The new graphics for the PS3 aren't enough to beat the Wii. The Xbox360 wasn't as good as the PS3 or Wii either. I can't wait for the game Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Wii, and Legend of Zelda looks awesome too. The PS3 doesn't come out with games fast enough, right now they have about 20 games and the Wii has about 30 games. Also the Wii is only 200$ and the PS3 is WAY to expensive at 600$. The Wii is better at almost everything (except price, Xbox was cheaper but not as good), it has better games, it has a better controller (PS3 didn't even change theirs, Xbox controller is to big), Better title, gotta like it @_@, and it has all around better gameplay. Then the PS3 didn't come out with enough systems.

Why is everyone saying Wii is lacking online modes? On release it already had the Virtual Console (which PS3 and 360 don't have) where you could cheaply buy some of your old favorite games for NES, SNES, and 64.

Two day's ago the internet channel came out. You can even post here on the forums! You can also send messages to other Wiis over the internet if you exchange friend codes.

And that's not even the best part! Many games are coming that will be Wi-Fi. Nintendo Wi-Fi is completely free, I race people all over the world on Mario Cart DS. Japan already has Pokemon Battle Revolution which is running smoothly on Wi-Fi. We'll be getting Super Smash Bros. Brawl soon, which will also be Wi-Fi.

In my opinion, I really don't want to talk to the people I play with on Wi-Fi like the Xbox 360 has you do. On Nintendo Wi-Fi, you simply play the games.

Why I like the Xbox 360's online much more then the Wii's... no Friend Codes. People who are saying "oh ah, the Wii has online" don't understand why Xbox Live is so big. Yeah the Wii has a web browser, can download old games, and check weather. But so what? Why do you need a web browser, don't you have a computer to do that? The Xbox 360 can download arcade games, yes not as many, but still .Also, the Xbox 360 you can download movies, tv shows, game trailers, game Demos, and movie trailers. And check weather, its called your local weath er channel on tv. The fact that the Wii uses friend codes basically ruined it for me. Xbox Live has an extenseive friends list where you can do live video chats, live voice chats, and also, PLAY PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW! Friend codes is a TERRIBLE idea and it creates terrible online. Beisdes, Wi-Fi is really bad. Why would you want to play wirelessly? Who actually owns a wireless router? I don't. I will use the ethernet cable all the time. Xbox online > Wii's online

Well, the only game that requires friend codes for Nintendo Wi-Fi so far is Animal Crossing Wild World. Every other game lets you randomly search for people to play with, but you can enter friend codes if you wish to play only people you know.

I think these alls tink,I love Nitendo DS!!!!!!!!!!!, So I guess I will have to pick Wii ,it's closer to Nitendo than ever.

warner, I do agree with you in that a console is all about gaming, the other options are xtra. A gaming system is all about gaming all the way through. And thus is why I like the Xbox. It doesn't use any sort of friend codes at all. If you want to play a friend, use your FRIEND's LIST. Simple enough. With the Wii can you talk to your team mates? With an Xbox 360 you can. With the Wii, is there a leaderboard option to find out how good you really are, on the 360 there is. On the Wii is there a way to see what games your friends are currently playing you can join them, witht he 360 there is. Does the Wii offer HD gaming to allow players to experience beautiful landscapes and world, with the 360 it does. When it comes to which aids best to true gamers, the 360 has everything I want. I love online gaming and I will buy the system that offers the best options. The 360 gets my vote. And with the PS3, for $600 that thing should be able to clean my room. A Romba robotic vacume cost $200.

Yeah, besides Resistance Fall Of Man, none of the other games interest me at all.

Yeah, Resistance and Motor Storm are the ONLY games worth buying. Xbox has many due to how it has been out a year, and the Wii was lucky and actually had great launch games.

Wii and PS3 is a close call. But I must say they are all good in their own way. But I do think it was a good idea for Xbox 360 to come out when it did, because now everyone is fighting over Wii and PS3. Its so sad that people have died from it.

that's not right xbox 360 its not like xbox and it has more than just wireless controller it has better graphics and it looks very real graphic and thinner and you can play it on computer live

Wii alone stands out, making it good, best Nintendo has had yet. On top of that, it will eventually have Wi-Fi, allowing us to play some games with others online.

Xbox 360 is mainly known for its nice graphics and online play, especially with games that only exist for the system

sounds to me like the makers behind PS3 liked the idea of Nintendo having motion controlled games. Anyway, Wii is starting to become popular, but usually nintendo is kids/teens. PS systems are usually all ages, while Xbox is usually teens/adults. Depending on future games, Wii might become adults too.

i just remembered another reason i dont want PS3. they dont include the componet cables you need to get full 1080p graphics. and heres my list of ppl i wouldnt give a wii to. MLB, NFL, NBA players you can see them playing it the second swing they break the strap sending it flying at speeds like 20 MPH lol. also that includes WWE stars lol you can also see what would go wrong there lol. **** i messed up stupid game. then 5 seconds later the wii is in 50 peices lol

Right now I'm just comparing the Wii, Xbox360, and PS3. But you are right in one point. If you are looking into buying a PS3 at the moment, I suggest you don't buy it. As of now it's not too great, but unless you really want one I'd wait for the price to go down and the game choice go up.

your the first person thats agreed with me. lol im fine with the 2 PS2's i have for about another year to 2 years and a half when i expect one of them to break down.

Has anyone realised that the Wii Controller has a safety strap? When you just start a game there is a reminder to attach it on your arm. These controllers are going through tv's because it's the people that are getting the Wii. It's not all about graphics, Nintendo are right, you should interact. I've seen people play Wii Sports and when they play tennis the whack REAL hard, all I do is an acceptable swing and already im a Pro on tennis. I have voted for the Wii.

Has anyone realised that the Wii Controller has a safety strap? When you just start a game there is a reminder to attach it on your arm. These controllers are going through tv's because it's the people that are getting the Wii. It's not all about graphics, Nintendo are right, you should interact. I've seen people play Wii Sports and when they play tennis the whack REAL hard, all I do is an acceptable swing and already im a Pro on tennis. I have voted for the Wii.

i think nintendo got inspiration from PS2's eye toy games bc you have to interact with it and make certain movements. and how you said you play that is how everyone is supposed to play if everyone that gets mad bc there strap breaks they should realize that you dont have to fling the controller to hit the tennis ball you just have to swing it slower like they show on the wii commercials

u needed to read the other posts to find out why we were talking about PS2 and i do care about blu-ray bc its 1. faster than the normal ones and 2. it can allow you to store more data on a disc so that allows game developers to create more in depth games with the best graphics. you must not have done your research on the blu-ray

imo the wii controllers is nothing new its been done to death by nintendo, example original nes has pad for track and field. and i think its not what gaming is about today, its about graphics and gameplay, sony has had it right from the start since sega cd and the ps one was out. actually camera the new thing also for PS is the motion sensing. if you play the PS3 at a store you wont be able to use it but for games like NBA live or NBA 07 you have to hold the controller and swing it over your head towards the TV to make a goal.Not motion sensing, just tilt sensors, like in Guitar Hero when you tilt the guitar controller upwards for star power.

My 360 is my "serious" gaming console. The graphics are amzing and so is LIVE. I play with all my friends online. The 360 has a ton of great games on the way in 2007 and I especially cannot wait for Crackdown, GTA 4, and Halo 3.

They are worth buying the Wii alone! I won't be buying many shooters or other genres that I like playing because most likely they are on the 360 and I would rather buy them on that. The graphics on the Wii don't even compare to the 360, but the gameplay makes up for it. Nintendo WiFi will be interesting, but I will still prefer LIVE becuase of all the things you can do on LIVE!

Yeah, Microsoft really has a good hit with XBox LIVE. Did you hear about when the matchmaking thing was down for a few hours and tons of people went into despair? Obsession, which I guess is good for MS since they pay for LIVE.

Yeah, but the $500 version is REALLY hard to find in most places, they usually only have the 60gig. Sony better find a way to make it cheaper for them to produce, they're losing money on each console made.

warner, I do agree with you in that a console is all about gaming, the other options are xtra. A gaming system is all about gaming all the way through. And thus is why I like the Xbox. It doesn't use any sort of friend codes at all. If you want to play a friend, use your FRIEND's LIST. Simple enough. With the Wii can you talk to your team mates? With an Xbox 360 you can. With the Wii, is there a leaderboard option to find out how good you really are, on the 360 there is. On the Wii is there a way to see what games your friends are currently playing you can join them, witht he 360 there is. Does the Wii offer HD gaming to allow players to experience beautiful landscapes and world, with the 360 it does. When it comes to which aids best to true gamers, the 360 has everything I want. I love online gaming and I will buy the system that offers the best options. The 360 gets my vote. And with the PS3, for $600 that thing should be able to clean my room. A Romba robotic vacume cost $200.Well, I don't know if you can talk to other players when you do online play, but if it doesn't I don't really care to much for it because in Super Smash Bros it's just about beating the other guys, and there would be no reason to talk, lol. As for HD, I didn't know you could use it for gaming systems. But if you HAD to use Friend Codes to play online I would not be happy, so i'm glad they made it an option. I agree with TropicalStich on the part about the strap thing, it is not Nintendo's fault that people keep breaking them. The graphics on the Wii aren't as great as the PS3, but like TropicalStich said, the games and gameplay make up for it (As long as you don't break the strap, O_o).

Wii. I got one for christmas. My dad stayed up at nine oclock outside od walmart until 9 in the morning. My grandma and grandpa even played! And my grandma did good! And my little cousins were getting strikes. They were playing it like it was real. The only thing that does stink, is that I can't fish in Zelda. It's to hard. I haven't even did the first level! Oh well. I heard the ps3 was going into recall though. It's not working right. The x-box isn't really for little kids, like wii and ps2 is. Remember tak? Winnie the Pooh? Rayman? The only rated t game I have is the haunted mansion, for mild violence! If it's a game like that then yeah, it's gonna have some violence! Well, I want to keep this post going. When I went over my causins house they had the 360 - by the way, it was scratched so this might be why - and we were playing madden. In the middle of the game I randomly passed to somebody and the obstacle course came up. All I'm saying is that worklingy and age group wise, Wii is for everybody. Graphics are excellent, for certain games like Zelda, almost better than World Of Warcraft - the game I got into -. For the rated t games, they're coming out with gun 2, and the prince of persia - getting that - Yeah, wario smove moves is coming out, and thats E. Doesn't mean it's not hard! So come on people. Have to think more broadly about this. In my opinion, Wii is great.

Not many people want PS3 after the recall. There were 6 in Best buy and about 100 people there. Nobody touched them.

My order of what i think is the Best

Xbox 360, then the Wii, then the PS3

I will start with the PS3 that console is amazing but only for one game Resistance. All the other games are horrible and have no gameplay value. Honestly who needs a blue-ray player take that out and sony would see PS3 flying off the shelves.

The Wii blew my mind i was shocked at how easy it was. Zelda by far is in my Top 3 games of the year. The marketplace lets me download classic sonic and mario games. The Wii is great i just think it needs online support before i can give it the extra points it needs to go over the Xbox 360. Not Saying i dislike the Wii because i really really love it.

Xbox 360 i think is the best console out so far (even though Microsoft lost the console lead sham on them). The online just lets you expand on the game like never before. And with huge titles like Gears of War, Call of Duty 3, Dead Rising, Viva Pinata, Rainbowsix vegas. Just all great games. I am not saying the 360 is best for the graphics it is best for the gameplay.

PS3 and the Wii have a year before i can truely rate them because the 360 had that long.

I just got the 360 for Christmas and I think it's great. I'm not gonna compare it with any of the other consoles though because I have only played the 360 >.<

he wii is better than anything right now and and the PS3 is a portable DVD player? ok since whne did games turn into DVDs, and it does more than play games and wacth movies u can use the internet, and its the most advanced game system out there right now. and the xbox 360 is a better xbox that was ade to rival sony's PS3. the reason theres so many systems is bc of competition, and ppl like handheld games like the DS and gameboy SP.
maybe the wii is hard to play in the mall bc it has a short stap attached to the system or container but it should be easier at home bc its not attached to anything. cant wait for the next gen systems lol already have ideas they could use on them

Xbox 360 is considered 2nd generation, they haven't had as much trial and error time and should be commended on competing with 3rd generation systems. I am not counting NES and SNES as generations for the Wii[Formerly Revolution, sigh]. The PS3 and its added Blue Ray player gives more incentive to buy this " 2 in 1 " package. This is why I voted for it. Graphics do matter, and they have won the battle in that category. They have some great games for their systems. The Wii is great for some exercise, and can provide for family fun. This is what they probably focused on and said, eh who cares to graphics. It is great to finally see at least some exercise, no matter how small, to a gaming system.

when i said xbox i meant both of them. in my opinion i think they are better than microsoft bc they basically made gaming what it is today when they came out with N64. games i consider fun are games like call of duty 3 which is the in my opinion best game thats out right now. nintendo alo made the way for the PSP when they had the play and watch or whatever it was called. that was really the first handheld system ever.

mightyman sony had been working on making the PS3 long before intendo released information that they had the motion sensing device in it, they had also been planning to have it on the PS3 for a long time nintendo released info that it was making the wii about a year ago and sony let everyone know about 1 1/2 years ago so they had been planning it longer than wii. and the PS3 does use it differently than wii bc my friend got it for christmas and let me use it. it was way different than the wiis

i know exactly how u feel i cant belive that either. i would rather get the DS than PSP bc PSP cost about 200 dollars and DS costs 120 and has nearly the same things except internet and u can tell PSP is beginning to lose its populariy when they have to use it as a controller for the PS3. and so i guess XBOX 360 doesnt play movies?

Xbox 360 does play movies but not in HD. If you want that you have to Download HD movies from the Marketplace or buy the Xbox 360 HD Player.

The only reason why the PSP is losing popularity is Sony DID NOT EXPAND on it. Which makes owners like me a little angry. You have an excellent handheld and they think they can leave it at that. Nintendo is pulling out all the stops with the DS not quitting and they are expanding it every day.
