Yes, they have ran out of stock, and are now giving out DLR Pumpkins.

Sorry if this news have already been brought up, sorry if you were looking to get some snowmen, but what your gonna get is a DLR Pumpkin!

Why a pumpkin? Why not 3 additional prizes instead of 1? Makes me wonder what he has in store for the days to come... Also WDW is near there last round of cards so you better hurry there as well!

But where is the quest to print out? I looked in the newsletter and the regular Holiday quest is gone but there is not a Haunted Holiday Quest in it's place.. hmmm

I had friends at DLR today, that did the quest, I just got off of the phone with them.

They are OUT of the Gold Snowmen.:santa2:

They are giving out the Pumpkins or The Gold Ears instead.

The CM told them that they will not be getting anymore.

How did they run out of just one item?

Oh well, at tleast they are giving out rare to peplce it, but I have a lot of the DLR pumpkins, but there is only a week left for the Quest, I dont think the Value will go down too much. ( they will probably run ot of those too LOL)

That is so funny...I actually got the snowman today and got 2 500 credit cards for the soldier and the wreath not being available. Oh well, who knows what happened to everything but I had the same wonder as to why only one or 2 would be gone in the set.

Maybe they are not really out of stock, but the cast member at the kiosk, cant just walk away.

Maybe they dont have any more in the drawer at the time, so they just replace it with something else that they have at the moment.

I guess they have more cards in some office somewhere.

They didn't give me pumpkin! I would rather have pumpkin than gold snowman, but got gold snowman with 2 credits cards to replace blue soldier and blue wreath they have run out of (as of 9:30pm thursday night).

The way that it is set up now, it is very hard to read. You can very easliy miss something important.

GAH! They finally make a Haunted Mansion Holiday Quest, one of my VMK dreams, and they don't even make a new item for it?! Well, at least they're noticing Nightmare.. not in the way I was hoping though. It seems just like a diversion, of them being out of Gold Snowmen, then a real new quest. :l :snowman:

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering as well. I was planning to do the holiday quest in a few hours LOL. I'm pretty sure that you can get another mickey pumpkin because it's a new quest just the same prize.

Only Slightly, The Quest still need to be printed at home, and it is only for an extra week, at ONE park.

Disneyland has a lot of locals! Most of the visitors that get the pumpkin, (probably) are just getting extras!

wow i left disneyland on wednesday :) got all 6 quests done including the holiday one i guess im lucky? or maybe not...

Anyone know if the new Holiday HM quest new prize is OK to get, even though we may have done the halloween quest (same pumpkin) back in October with our annual passes?
I would hate to be told can't get prize since it's not 90 days....

Maybe a little off topic, but WDW/MK still had Holiday Quest cards as of 10:00 am Saturday December 23.

I got lucky. Disneyland was out of wreaths and soldiers on Wednesday, so I got three snowmen for each quest instead. Then I returned on Friday after they had run out of snowmen and got some pumpkins. Just happened to be visiting at the right times!

I ponder that logic. Why would you have more snowman than wreaths and soldiers? If for completing one quest, you recieve all three prizes, why would you have more of one specific prize than of the other two?

Maybe because they split the wreaths and soldiers between Walt Disney World and Disneyland, while all of the (gold) snowmen went to Disneyland?

Oh, and a week back when I had the holiday quest I got a gold snowman and 2 credit cards instead. Looks like all of their cards are running low too. When I got my prize pack it only had like 6 cards in it.
