500 credits is not too bad for a special pin. The nice thing about this one is that they have the proper number(9) of candles on the menorah. The Chanukkah presents only have seven. *chuckles*

At least they are trying. Chanukkah is not really as big a deal as Christmas; Passover VMk items would be better. I do miss the 'Star of Mickey', though. I like that one.

There is no official why to spell Hanukkah, Chanukah, Chanukkah, etc. The reasoning is that it is a hebrew word. I attached a picture of the correct spelling. In english we spell it phonetically. The difference between the CH and H has to do with grammer rules from a long time ago.

As for the pins, I like the star of mickey pin and I like the new pin too. I also was mad about the 7 candles on the gifts, but I do like that they are at least trying.

Actually, the proper number of candles is 7. A Chanukiah, which is what people actually use on Chanukah, has 9.

Passover would not be a good idea because it is not really commercialized. It would definetly cause contreversy.

I tend to spell it with the CH because that is the actual way we spell the letter "chet" in the English language. Even though there is no real way to spell it, thats how I do it. The "Hey" is pronounced like an H. I get mad sometimes that people pronounce it that way, but I can understand why people would spell it like that, seeing most people don't speak Hebrew.

It is a bit strange that they would put a Chanukiah on the pin and a Menorah on the presents. I like that they are trying too, but I think them putting presents is wrong. Presents aren't what Chanukah is about. Also, the dreidel chair is upside down and has a mickey plastered on it! Well, I guess VMK doesn't know that there is a meaning behind the letters on the dreidel. Dreidel isn't just a game. PM me if you want to know the meaning behind it. But it is still nice that they are at least acknowledging Chanukah.
