There was this person who imed me on AIM telling me about a site that duplicates VMK items so you can get more of anything on VMK. He/She invited me to a chat and told me about this site about how to hack into the system.I looked at the site and wanted to report it to VMK,but I don't know if they would really do anything.I'm sure this person has imed other people on what to do,so if you do,tell them hacking is not right which I did tell he/she.

I think in a situation like this, you should report the site to vmk, but do not open the link yourself as it could be a virus threat to your computer. The best thing to do is report it and ignore the person who sent it to you.

I have reported the site to VMK.If somebody with that screen name instant messages you,don't be looking forward to nice messages.

I think he got my screen name off another VMK fan site,because I wasn't logged on any other VMK fan site.Anyways,if you ever get am im from him,he's very rude.

If you get a IM about a VMK Hacking site, I would immediately report the website to VMK via Contact Us. This way, they know about the site and can shut it down!

I did report the site,and the site is temporarily down.So I'm wondering if they took it down or not.And it could be possible the "hacker" took down the site.

I hope VMK takes it down.

Yeah I'm sure they took it down,but I'm thinking the hacker took it down as of now.

vmk doesn't have the power to shut down any website on the world wide web the only thing they can do is change the way they get into the data base

I don't know if VMK can actually take down another site that they don't own.

I dont think they can shut down a site either,but it was like after I reported the site it shut down.Unless the hacker shut it down by him/herself

If vmk did that they would be doing something against the law.

Oh my goodness... sweetbutterfly. You put your screennames on your profile so this hacker has to be from a fan site your part of! This is SO shocking. And it HAS to be someone from a VMK fansite BECAUSE how would a random person know you play VMK?!? This is serious stuff here and it's just TERRIBLE.

VMK company can, however, file a lawsuit, and maybe get money or have the site shut down. :snow_cool:

That's Creepy&or stockerish. I'm glad I dont have my sn on my profile. Weird. Hacking is just wrong. It ruins the fun out of everything.

This is terrible, but you did do the smart thing and report the site to VMK. There is always the possibility that it is a virus also. It's sad that there are those kinds of people in the world. Oh well.
