ok. im getting 1 of these for Christmas and can't decide which 1. so should i ask for an iPod, or a Nintendo DS??

I personally like the I pod because it can hold about 500 songs and as a owner of a i pod I have had absolutly no problems with it. It has games, alarms, extra fun stuff, ect. Yes, I will say again that I think a i pod is a better choice but that is just my opinion, everyone has different opinions :)

Different iPods hold different amounts of songs =)

If your a music junkie, get an iPod
If your a game junkie, get a DS

Haha.. I'm both, MissWaffle. I have a DS, which I asked for my birthday last year. And I'm probably getting an iPod, which I asked for Christmas.

since i dont have an ipod, my opinion isn't that valuable, although my friend has one, and when i've messed with his i have loved it. I never use my nintendo ds, except for an alarm clock, which does wake me up. Im gonna say iPod since nintendo hasn't done as much with the ds as i would have liked.

i have both and the ds is what i use almost always. i have a tiny cartridge called the play yan micro (nintendo japan) that plays mp3's and video on the ds... and animal crossing is my favorite game on the ds :)

i would say the ds is a better choice because the ipod can play songs, how fun is that? With the ds there is hundreds of different games ( i think animal crossing and pokemon dungeon blue rescue team are the best ) and the ds has a lot of different functions. the ipod can play songs on the go but so can a cd player and that's a lot cheaper

Well, I like both equally.

I have an iPod Video and the original DS. I play them both equally and if I didn't have an iPod, I'd survive ( I have a Shuffle :) ) But, if I lost my DS, I would survive, too. I'm getting a Wii for christmas so, I'll be focused on that. :D

I like both... But I'd say an iPod... But that's just cause I'm obsessed with music :D

but the DS has only in my opinion has about 7 good games

ds cause you can play games and LISTEN to music on it. my favorite games on ds is animal crossing cause you can play with anyone on this forums and around the world.(if you connect to internet)

Get the DS. Nintendo's made hundreds, and hundreds of games..and you can't actually DO anything with an iPod. Well, you can listen to music..but..
an iPod really isn't that exciting..

Well, its YOUR choice. Not our's! Just remeber that.

Go with the iPod, the DS isn't anywhere near the PSP. I'd ask for the iPod for Christmas and a PSP for my birthday ;)

OMG IPod definatly!!!! Seriously i have no clue wat i would do with myself if i had no IPod!! plus ds get boring after awhile...

DS. But i'm asking for an iPod. lol so i don't know. How about a PSP? You can play awesome games on it, and my friends all have them and they use it as an MP3.

i would say ipod bc even if you want to play games you can get games for the ipod on itunes only a few but still i personally think the video ipod is the only useful one bc you can have the games, movies, videos, etc., the ds is good too if you really like games..... either one really

A DS can play hundreds of games. And an iPod can play music.
But do you really need an iPod to play music? No. A CD player does that too, just like Frog said =]
So I say DS.

It really depends on your taste.

If you love listening to music, get an iPod.

If you love playing video games, get a DS.

Just think between these two, which one you would use moe.

DS all the way man you can play games on it plus it is way more fun than a iPod because you get to look instead of listen

iPod, Eventually, you'll grow out of wanting to play video games. But almost no one grows out of listening to music. There are games on the iPod, but they are kind of lame. And I think their trying to do this new thing with iPod video, where you can download games. Personally, I'd say iPod unless it's a ipod shuffle, then go with the ds.

DS all the way because my sister has an Ipod, but it doesn't do anything I can't do with and old CD player. (except play games)
