Since there's only a limited supply of PS3's, I'll say get a Wii.

Im asking for a newer DDR because the one I have now is really old and it broke.

Either the PS3 or Wii. I have the Wii and haven't tried the PS# (but I'm sure its pretty good). I loveeeeeeeee the Wii. Although, I wouldn't call those "toys."

the PS3 is just the PS2 with like 2 updates not that good ( besides the hand censor thing where u wave your hand over and the cd drive opens automatically its cool ) and it has a couple games .. on the other hand get the wii its new and its alot better other then that i would get the xbox 360 ITS THE BEST SYSTEM ON EARTH just get 1 without that dumb xbox live bug i hate that when i got myn... evil company! ( oh and i have all of these so i know the best or the worst )

A week ago on the news, they showed 13 movies of people playing Wii, and accidentally letting go of the controller(s) and bashing it into LCD TV's, Ceilings, PEOPLE. Nintendo is recalling Wii but leaving games out.

Nintendo said yesterday it will voluntarily exchange 3.2 million straps following reports of damaged TVs and minor physical injuries caused by flying Wiimotes.

The company said it is replacing existing Wii remote straps with a wider, stronger version. Individually packaged Wiimotes purchased after Dec. 18 will have the new one mm cord.

I'm not really into toys, but I think DDR would be fun. Be sure to ask for something that you won't use once or twice, then never use again. See if it something you can do alone, or with someone, etc. Just think.

Arg, that's too bad. They should really exchange the straps.
But really, how on earth can a remote fly out of your hand? I guess the people were very excited.

I agree whole heartedly. Video games are for both genders, yet people always seemed sort of "surprised" when a girl mentions they like to play games. It's like saying only boys can play sports -_-'


Anyway, I say get a xbox360 ^_^ I have one myself and enjoy it very much. But if not a 360 then get a video ipod or Wii.
