I looked at each and every pin location at both parks and Downtown Disney.

The VMK pins were suppossed to be out today ( 12-12-2006) They were not.

No Cast Member has any idea of what I was even talking about.

The last time I looked at the pin site, I noticed that the date said 12-22-06. Perhaps there is a delay for some reason?

It actually seems like their pin trading producers are having a hard time keeping up. The pirate pin series is not the only pins that have been delayed, there are many other pins also.

Weren't they supposed to be released in both Disneyland and WDW?

Oh, I read on THIS Site that they were out yesterday, maybe no one changed the date.

That will be a Holiday Weekend. They are almost sure to sell out.
I am not going to DLR on a Holiday Weekend. My daughter has an annual pass, but it is blocked out that weekend, until January.
So if they have any left I might get some, but I may have to wait until the second shipment.

They've been out at WDW since before Thanksgiving. I have some pins from WDW already, but DLR getting their's later is really odd.

I ordered my pins on 11/14/06 from WDW Merchandising and they're still on back order .:rolleyes:

OK. Here is what happened. I was at the world the week after Thanksgiving and found this out...

The cards were released around the middle of November in limited supply. This was to see if they would sell. Keep in mind that this is a open ended edition. The release date for DLR was pushed back because the pins that were slated for them were sent to WDW. Disney World just got a new supply in the other day and they currenlty have them. Mail order is still behind. By December 22, 2006 they will be available in both parks. So don't worry.

Last Monday (the 11th) Downtown Disney in WDW got some in. The lady told me they sold out that day again. I was there on Thursday the 14th and none to be found.
