its one of the four parks located in Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida. The others being: Magic Kingdom (hence VMK=virtual Magic Kingdom), MGM, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. EPCOT was originally planned to be an experimental community. EPCOT stands for Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow.

Basically summed it up

Epcot is home to the World Showcase and Futureworld.

FutureWorld has alot of rides such as Mission Space and Test Track
(Maybe you have heard of them)

The World Showcase is a part of the park that has alot of countries around the world. Alot of the places in the World Showcase has resturants where you can taste some of the food from that country and some have shows where you can learn more about that country :)

That is not completely true. Disneyland is referred to as Magic Kingdom a lot. Such as when your on the Disneyland Railroad; "Enjoy the rest of your day here at Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom." To me it seems to be more based on Disney Parks in general.

That was an understatement. Not really, but wow. EPCOT is a full sized Disney theme park which opened in the 1980's. It is now home to the rides Mission Space and Test Track. How did you never hear of that park? It also has the countries anf Furture World. There are four full sized Disney parks in Orland-Kissemme area. Disney is so big, it is in more then two cities and counties. Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, and MGM Studios. California has two Disney theme parks, Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure.

one of the main features of EPCOT is World Showcase in which different countries designed different countries to show their heritage and culture
