I joined in the summer, July-ish, if i remember rightly, just after the new VMK was opened (Just after beta finished) I remember rockets were still in shops, and there was no tomorrowland other than the inner space shop, let alone frontierland. Good times good times, and my friend Mykitty showed me around.

I have been playing since way early beta! I remember all the friends I made then (well, most of them).

Since right when fall started.
Those days being a guest ruled.
You could do crazy stuff and no one cared cause when people said guest, they could mean anyone.

Sometime around the first week of July. I had read about it in my sister's Disney Adventure's magazine and thought it said come sign up June 27 when it actually said come May 23 for a preview before it officially opens.:banghead:

I've been playing VMK since July 2005, just before the 50th Celebration. Was so "VMK poor" back then could not afford a Space Suit or the Tomorrowland 8/9 pin. Credits were not easy to come back way back then, LOL. This was just as the beta stuff was being removed for the stores. Was too poor for that also, he he. :snowman:

I don't remember the exact month or day, but i know i wasn't far off from the first day.. It was still in beta (for quite some time after too) and i think i actually missed the first day badge by a week or so..

ah memories.. when black ears (my first hat.. boy was i excited lol) and the sorcerers hat were so hard to get.. i remember trading a complete HKDL pin set for a full space suit.. < i often wonder what the pin set would be worth now ;) > how excited i was too when i got it.. and i remember the jungle cruise pins for sale at one point and being too poor to get them lol..

I've been play since 2 weeks after it opened, my daughter who lives about a mile from the park got me started, and now my husband says when he divorces me he is going to put on the papers VMK ruined my marriage I just laugh. I miss the old days and the old trade rooms when people were nice to you and you hardly heard the word RARE. Oh how I hate that word.

Hah, that's my birthday. Actually, 1.5 years would be in January. (That's my half birthday, and I know that because we celebrate birthdays at school, so I celebrate my half birthday!)

Ive been here since the first HOUR of beta. I was a happy ToonTown player and wanted to see what else was out there. (And thanks to Nick for making this board months before public beta was released.)

I've been playing since the first week of BETA, when everything was CHEAP and less credits were given out in the games. If i would have known then what i know now, i would have stocked up, BIG time :)

Same here, i've only been playing for a few months. Didn't know it existed until then either until I found out about it from a friend. ^_^

I joined 7/4/05 on my first VMK accound and 8/28/05 on technogirl. :) By the way, the only reason I remember the dates was that 7/4 was the day of my birthday party (but not really my birthday) and I went upstairs to type in the code from buying a pin at DLR and that's how I found VMK. :)

Funny you say that, they were 25 credits and all the other green top/pants were for sale too. I might've bought a pair but back then I didn't want my inventory get too big so I think I returned to VMK a bunch of clothes :eek: big mistake! I think I returned green flips way back then ROFL and I know a few people that did that too. Sell their clothes back so you could get the credits.

lol yes, that was a HUGE mistake. It's actually funny how newcomers think sometimes, but then again, I dont blame them!

I started playing the first day it was released in beta.

I have been playing since August of 2006 (this year). I now have near 80,000 credits. 5* on every magic but inferno, invisibility, and bat (this one is 3*). I go to WDW and do the quest.
