VMK for me is a game that I could play when i'm bored and a place where I can hang out with other players around the country/world

I think its way more than just a game :)

VMK is a game that i will play when im bored or taking a break from RPG (role-playing-game) games, but I pretty much play other games more, so its yes and no, i can quit anytime.

No. i can take a 1 year break if i wanted and not miss it at all;)

i pick no because i can stop playing vmk anytime i want to it's just a game that people play but everyone have different likes and dislikes.

VMK is my life,but its not all of my life..I play VMK a lot,but that doesn't mean I won't be able to stop playing it.I'll only stop playing it if I really want to or have to.But I like VMK a lot so I don't know if that would happen..VMK is more than just a game,it's a place where you can learn things about yourself and where you can meet new friends.I say VMK is like school,learning new things.

I can get a high score in the Fireworks game and spend hours talking about how cool Disney is, was, and will be. Now that is pretty darn nerdy! But, I know people who can do a thousand times more than me!

No. I'd rather not play VMK than get fat and stare at a computer screen all day.

It's just a game, its going a little far to call it "life" no matter how much you love it.

Technically, VMK isn't even a game. It contains several games within it, but it's not a game itself. There is no goal and no winners or losers.

I can stop playing vmk whenever I want, but I like it because I can stay a kid forever. VMK has brought me to meet all these wonderfull friends of mine, and i am forever thankfull for vmk :)

Random choice LOL. I dont use it to 'escape' (SP? I forgot how to spell that LOL) the 'real world'. But VMK is like Neverland, you never grow up. LOL

I like VMK when I have the free time and don't feel like it's interfering with my "real" life. It is often the highlight of my day. A chance to escape reality and be a stress free kid again. However, if given the chance to hang out with my VMK friends or my real friends, I would choose my real friends every time. A computer game can never take the place of the real world.

It's my Neverland where I can be a kid forever. XD

Its little of the second and third one. I meet alot of new friends in VMK and i certainly do not act like the same in vmk than in real life.

its a great game I play it when I have time but I put no but i still like vmk!

I think that yes VMK is cool and everything but I just can't spend as much time on it now. School, extracurricular activities, and music has just basically taken over my life. When I get home though, it's fun to talk to my cyber friends and just relax for once. :)

I quit vmk llike 5 months ago to play runescape. but now and then i check how my friends r doing

VMK is more than a game, it spreads out into the real world, you can do quests to win virtual items. Heck, they used to have a real tour. How real is that? @_@ Oh, its just a game, a successful one, one that should of only been around for the 50th anniversary.

I don't think it has anything to do with being a "nerd", but anyone who considers this game their life, or even a large part of it, seriously needs to reevaluate their priorities. That's one of the things that bums me out about this game is seeing all the people who's values are skewed and who's lives are being stolen because of an obsession with pixels in a virtual playground. Internet friendships are entirely too safe and don't require any risk or sacrifice. People who hang out in their comfort zone (i.e. behind the safety of their keyboard) too often aren't going to be the most well-adjusted people. And my heart breaks to think of all the kids who are missing out on more important parts of childhood because they've been misled to believe that being the envy of the kingdom is all that matters..

I have always thought this is nothing more than a game. I like it a lot and it's free, so I can play. I won't stop playing till I get older, or when all my friends have left. Hopefully that never happens though.

Looking over this thread makes me realize how many people are truly obsessed with this game. I have a life. I have better things to do then "sit in front of pixelated rooms for five hours.". I don't play VMK all day and I know one day VMK will stop or I will stop. It's just a game, at least for me. I feel bad for people that say it's their life, there's better things to do then sit in front of a computer all day. Go outside, do something.

I like to do this to get me off of the computer and to realize what LIFE is really like: (It works best in summertime)
It helps to not go on the computer for a single second one day, but instead spend the day outside playing with friends, riding your bike, or playing sports, even eating outside~
THEN:
Spend the next day on the computer the whole day.

Compare the two days and chances are that you'll like the day outside best.. :)

Wow.. yeah vmk is not my life! I do play it alot though.. I need to not play it as much now that I realize how much I play it lol! Definitely doing active things is more fun! I really love to dance and I find it more fun than vmk so there!
