View Full Version : Tomorrowland Quest Games Lowered
WorkoutDude 12-01-2006, 10:08 PM As of today (Dec. 1, 2006)
The points for mini-games getting the:
Pink Car Magic
Have lowered.
What do you mean?
I am talking about the # of ghosts and the # of fireworks points needed have lowered.
Blue and Yellow Car magic have not been tested yet.
Green Car Magic Stays the same.
Just letting you know :)
Neoteny 12-01-2006, 10:21 PM You let me know when I no longer need 280,000 points in Fireworks to get that green car, ok?
MinnieMagic 12-01-2006, 10:32 PM LOL well said Neo! I got everything done but that stupid fireworks score! ARG!
AlexKeepsItReal 12-01-2006, 10:36 PM I was going to do greem just did yellow, but then I saw the fireworks score needed. I stopped there. I get max around 225,000 if I am VERY lucky. More like 215,000 normally. How am I supposed to get 280,000. Crazy people. That is like a perfect score.
WorkoutDude 12-01-2006, 10:40 PM Well I dont even know what the difference is between cars excpet for their color.
My friend can get that score possilbly on fireworks. I Cant even get close to that score on Haunted Mansion. Thats my problem.
camara 12-02-2006, 02:50 AM That is like a perfect score.
that is why they call it an expert quest.
Neoteny 12-02-2006, 03:07 AM Haha. I just checked my time so far on the green car quest, and I'm up to 5,434 hours. :) ...and counting!

Right there with you Neoteny. My time so far is 5,663 hours and still counting. I am topping out at around 265,000 for fireworks score which is so close yet still so impossibly far away. I wish they would lower it to around let's say 265,000. ;)

That's about my top score, too. 280,000 seems so far away!

That is my average Fireworks score. (i did get 275,00 once) Too bad i cant even get past the 85 ghosts in the haunted mansion for the Green car. I tell people to go on the other team and leave me by my self. When peole acctually list and eneter the mansion, they say that i am unfair?? and then leave. How is me going against 4 people unfair??

I got the 85 ghosts easily enough. You just have to be good and have a good opponent, so that more ghosts keep appearing, and you have to play all three rounds. But that Fireworks score is still way out of reach for me.
WorkoutDude 12-02-2006, 03:10 PM Now see, i cant gte ghost score. thats what stops me, i have not tried fireworks score
Astroshadykid 12-09-2006, 09:25 AM my average in fireworks is around 235,000
highest score ever: 248,000
Carioca 12-09-2006, 11:15 AM With lots of practice, I've been able to (on occassion) break 240,000 but 280,000 is nigh impossible for me.
Talking with those that *can* do it, it seems that, aside from skill and practice, to get scores like that you need to have a fast computer and a good, responsive, non-wireless mouse.
Flame Gun 12-09-2006, 01:32 PM Not true about the Non-Wireless mouse I can get up to 256,000 With a Wireless Mouse
Neoteny 12-09-2006, 04:55 PM Not true about the Non-Wireless mouse I can get up to 256,000 With a Wireless Mouse
256,000 is far from 280,000.
gone_batty 12-09-2006, 09:21 PM What does the wireless mouse do that the conventional mouse does not? Just curious.
Kinda funny that this thread came up! I was just toying with the idea of upgrading from Blue Car Magic. If anyone needs an opponent for Haunted Mansion, maybe we can help each other out. :)
Twilightrose 12-09-2006, 10:00 PM Mice, who needs mice? I use a trackball, but I am weird like that. I have used a trackball for my computer for many years so I am used to that. Whenever I have to play vmk on a computer with a mouse, even a wireless mouse, I do terrible.
Anyway, does anyone else play with a trackball? Just wondering if it is a help or a hindrance.
Batleth 12-09-2006, 10:02 PM What does the wireless mouse do that the conventional mouse does not? Just curious.Actually, a wired mouse will respond faster than a wireless mouse. It may be only a few milliseconds faster, but it does affect game preformance. Using an optical or a laser mouse should help as well. Those old roller ball mice tend to get dirty too fast and have less accurate preformance. Having a nice clean mouse pad made for your type of mouse will help as well.
But of course, we're just splitting hairs to try to get a few milliseconds better response time to improve your fireworks score. Don't go rush out to the store and buy all new stuff unless you actually need it.
Btw, I use a Logitech gamer's weighted optical wired mouse with an optical mouse pad...lol.

"The Cave" at Disneyland has trackballs instead of mice. I tried playing Fireworks there, but I failed miserably. I couldn't even play Jungle Cruise (although I could crash well enough to get the default reward -- that points system really needs to be reworked).
Tanimalcrossing 12-10-2006, 12:10 PM So now we can get two cars?
papersouls 12-13-2006, 04:05 AM You let me know when I no longer need 280,000 points in Fireworks to get that green car, ok?
lol Let me know when they lower the 85 ghosts.. Boy is that rough..

I used to and I loved the thing.. It definitly takes some getting used to tho.. And lets just say i never had to worry about anyone going into my computer.. Now, i'm back to the mouse.. I don't remember why i switched, but I did.. O_o I think it had to do with graphics.. It wasn't as easy with the track ball..
