I used it in the treasure room thinking...treasure room?...must be treasure there, right?....uh no....got nothing! Then I realized that is usually what I end up getting when I use the keys in there too lol...should have gone anywhere but there lol. No really, I have seen it used in a twain guest room and they got credits so I really don't think it matters where you use it...just pure luck.

wow so many places i have two or three i am sitting on and i am noticing that it alomost looks like a new prize is added each day. or at least a prize and/or magic. i am really thinking about waiting to see how it changes from day to day before i use it.

With regards to magic being won with TD Magic...The easiest way for me to dispell people claiming snowman and Inferno is that it seems that the prizes while random are repeated. So if one person won magic it is likely many would have found it. There is no item found so far that multiple people did not also win the same day. So without a screen shot anadotal evidence is all we have and I find the claims unlikely as yet.

As far as using the magic This is where I think you can help yourself. Pick a room with space but not toom much area that you have to cover. Not to small either, while neat uptop in Snow Whites Forest I would not try it, most likely you will be stuck. Start near a door or edge of the room and walk without stoping. Know where you want to go. Avoid walking out of the room, onto ride track, small confined spaces or in spell room avoid activating other magic. (yes someone has done it) Also avoid clicking on yourself (your signature will get in your way possibly) If you here people are getting big prizes, it is probably a good day to try, I fyou here of small prizes you may want to hold.

Incidentally another close friend won 5000 credits in tiki Tiki Room. I think You have a shot at something each time if you pick a good spot and keep walking.

I wasnt walking at all when I used my first TDM, My character started walking by itself, I got 5 credits, but at least it worked.( pirate fortress guest room)

Today, I went into an empty Fanstasyland in the Sky Room, I walked all over the place! I got a Buried in treasure, magic pin.

I want Kellogg's Magic to be tradeable! I mean, come on, now that the codes have stopping working....

I completely agree Neoteny. And we know they can make untradeable items tradeable again because they did it with the Sparrow costume.
I was very excited when I found out that we could get the Kellogg's magic pins from TDM. Unfortunately, I have yet to get a single TDM, after 6 days of prizes.

There've been a few wanted posters and blue Aladdin's carpet chairs. And somebody said he or she found a small pirate rug. I think the best prizes I've seen so far are the Buried in Treasure magic pin and the big credits.

Well I had four treasure detector pins as of this evening and I was going to wait until we saw some clear patterns before using. Even if it meant waiting for 30 days. But just on a whim before closing I went to fantasyland in the sky and activated one of them and then ran around like a madman so I didn't end up with nothing.

My character starting glowing gold and was holding something. After about 3 seconds, he stopped running and coins started showering on him. I don't know if it's the detector magic or the prize that started the coins. I got 'buried in treasure' magic, which seems really common lately. Just as wanted posters were pretty common at first. Then we had runs of blue flying carpet chairs and yellow tron lightcycle chairs. Do you think the designers are rotating the prizes every couple of days? What will they put in at the end of the month? something tasty, I hope.

Just my theory. everyone keep posting what you get so we can see any trends. Good luck and have fun. By the way, I was thrilled to get a magic I can't trade for, I joined VMK right after kellogg's stopped with the pirate magic. I would sell my soul for 'cursed storm' magic.:rudolf:

It is a 1 time use. When you use it you walk around in the room your in looking for treasure. (limited time). If you find something a gold circle surrounds you and your map goes away that you were holding. You are given a message saying if you won something. If this does not happen you win nothing.

I had a BIT pin from the old kelloggs promotion.
Then I got 3 more from different TDM pins.

I combined them, now I have 1, FOUR star BIT pin.

The reason that you dont see many 2 or more stars on the Kelloggs pins, is that they are not tradable.
They were tradable during beta though.

I had a BIT pin from the old kelloggs promotion.
Then I got 3 more from different TDM pins.

I combined them, now I have 1, FOUR star BIT pin.

The reason that you dont see many 2 or more stars on the Kelloggs pins, is that they are not tradable.
They were tradable during beta though.
I hope you can finish it off with a fifth star! Good luck!

Add a mickey hat to frontier land where you enter the ghosts lobby. I don't remember the title of the room, but it has the wanted poster in the middle. My friend got the Sorceror Hat there.

I also got the same hat in the Castle forcourt.

The multi use one is more then inferno, that would be nice. Like for one day a moth, for people that sign up, there is a lottery that costs 100 credits to get signed up and it only one person wins. So only 12 multi-use pins per year. Also, it takes 24 hours to re-use. Not tradable, or tradable, I don't care.

This is my first post here. I found 2000 credits in Forbidden Temple. That seems like a good room for prizes. I would love to get the Sorcerer Mickey hat, hope I'm that lucky. I still have about 4 treasure detectors but I'm paranoid about using them and got nothing :P I wasted on the first one I had because I didn't know what to do with it. Should have done some research first. But pretty good on the second one for 2000 credits. Woot!
Btw, can somebody tell me where skull rock room is? Is that a guest room?

So I don't think you can win just about any prize; that is just hyperbole from the VMK people.

Seems like you may get
nothing,
Credits (as low as 200, high as 5000),
or one of a few select items: yellow lightcycle couch, BIT magic, sorcerers hat, wanted poster.

Am I wrong here? No major finds with this stuff. No Inferno magic, no sparrow suit, no stitch hat, no betas. Nada. They could have put in one or two just to get some excitement going. I feel very disappointed.

I forget where I used all of mine, but I used two in the Street Party Music Game on the dance floor and I got a Sorcerer Mickey hat and a yellow lightcycle couch.

Somewhere else I got 2000 credits. I remember two in Street Party came up with nothing, same with Castle Gardens.

(I had 7, I used them all so that I could start wearing other pins again without worrying about forgetting the others until the expired.)
