It looks like each day will be a different prize (do the math) and you need to login to Ebay. Search around for the hidden mickey (maybe a set of mickey ears) click on it and you will be sent a message via your Ebay account with a code for a select item.

You can, but it's not smart at all. People scam others on eBay daily by making other accounts of themselves, and bidding on their own items to raise the going price. I think something has been done with same IP accounts, but I could be wrong. It's not a smart idea to make a mule account, though. This isn't VMK we're talking about, this is a multi-million visitor a day site.

The thing that isn't good is for the people who have already found the hidden mickeys in game. They will have no chance in this. And, I totally agree with LAXplaya. This is a kid game, why make it for 18 years olds?

My father has been a member of eBay for 15 years now and has had no problems. Ebay is protected by the ASC and the FBI . This is like giving your code to Fort Noxs

Before you all get over excited, this promotion does not even begin until Friday.

To my knowledge, the "Hidden Mickey" challenge will take place on that site, I presume. And as Schmoofy stated, purchasing an item is not necessary to take part in this activity.

And you should take AlwaysPrincess's advice a lot more seriously than the way some of you are. She's not being "over cautious" - she's been SMART, which is a GREAT characteristic to possess, ESPECIALLY on the internet, MOREOVER sites like eBay. If YOU were smart, you would take her skepticism into consideration.

But before you all go registering, I HIGHLY recommend you talk to a parent about it first, especially since the site asks you for your address and phone number. I don't recommend putting in random information either, because if you put in a random phone number it very well might be someone else's number - ultimately getting them wrapped up into your mischief. Get your parents permission before registering for an account there. A lot of problems can arise from you putting in false information.

I won't be taking part in this activity until I hear something from VMK Staff, or see something on the homepage. If someone is in a room with staff right now, I highly recommend questioning them about this promotion. It may be legit and all, but why would staff release a promotion causing you to register with your complete location details, AND making the age limit 18 or over? On top of that, they ask your for your bank information (credit card number). Besides, there are VMK players who aren't even hold enough TO HAVE a credit card number. That to me, just isn't safe, especially on eBay. It just doesn't sit right with me.

As I already have an account and have had for many years, I went to check this out. It seems legit enough. To all who feel that Disney is telling us one thing and doing another. They are not. They are simply promoting the Dreams celebration and VMK by using another popular vehicle. Also, your first entry is from any purchase, it does not have to be a Disney purchase. The hidden mickeys are for gaining extra entries into the contest and the codes are a bonus. The codes are free, they are not bought.

The only thing I am wondering is if there are 5 mickeys to be found, will you get 5 codes or only one code per day? Guess we shall have to wait and see.

Someone asked HOST_Lily about this today but all she said was "we do not talk about other sites on here".

So this is basically useless, when you register they ask for a credit card #, because you know us kids who play VMK have credit cards.

We once sold a video game and the charge was reversed because the KID bought it using the parents account!! Never did get the game back.

I agree there. Sure they can advertise it, but the whole "registration process", especially one asking for very personal information, in order to win VMK items does not seem right. But, we might not even have to register to play the Hidden Mickey game. I guess we have to wait and see, but if we do I want to investigate a little more first.

And you don't have to buy anything to play the Hidden Mickey game. You have to purchase an item to enter the actual sweepstakes, but not to play the game.

YOU DO NOT need to buy anything for the VMK Stuff, however if your doing the Disney part, that just increases your chances of winning. They will give disney attractions each day, you locate the location of the hidden mickey and you will send it. If you are right, they will send a VMK code.

Making an extra account on EBAY is a BAD IDEA!! The only reason anyone would make more than one account is to commit fraud, and ebay knows this. They have a system in place that looks for the same ip adresses, the same static adresses, ect. When the system finds it they ban any user names associated with the computer and investigate any fraud that might have taken place. I got this from someone who works at ebay, so this in confirmed. Its not worth it DONT DO IT!

The restrictions on contests are usually for legal reasons. Different countries have different laws regarding competitions and awarding of prizes, and it would be far too complex for any contest to conform to every law everywhere in the world. Sorry, but that's just how it works.

I logged into e-bay and then searched for this promotion and got nothing. I mailed e-bay and they have no clue what im talking about. Who said this is a real promotion and not a scam and where is the proof. Every time I try to register it asks for my e-bay name and account password but I am already logged in. That bothers me, it should know Im logged in already. Every other thing I do in e-Bay knows im logged in and doesnt ask for that info. I would be very reluctant to trust a third party site here. GL to those of you who do. Hope Im wrong again.

Well i figure that if vmk at Least Knows about it and says it is real from what they know then i am guessing it should be , instead of a pure scam.

Then you can click on "My Ebay", and down near bottom of screen there is a link called "Announcements". This lists the actual promotion from the ebay site so its definitely a real promotion...

Yeah at the bottom of the ebay page it says updated last: Its like updated every 5 min.

People are telling you what you need to do on ebay to get the hidden mickeys, and then telling you that your vmk code will be sent to your "my messages" on your ebay account. People are trying to help you, but from your response above I would say figure it out yourself!

Isn't already time here at EST time? So this is how it works there is going to be a link that you click on correct? And when you click on it thre is a picture of a Disney park and there will be a drop down menu where the hidden mickeys are correct? Then if you get them right at 11:59:59 PST at the end of the day you will get a code in your message box and that's what you get?

It doesn't begin until midnight, PST. That's 2 hours after the close of VMK.

It will start in 2.5 hours, about. I have done a little searching around, and these hidden mickeys will all be on the same page for us to find. I will post more information as it becomes available.

I THINK....... that you will ge the prize code in 2-3 days, and not right away.

If you win a real prize, they mail it to you.
When you find the Hidden Mickey for the VMK code, it is sent to you from a message in the My Message section of ebay.

You can find it, by going to MY EBAY.



Click on MESSAGES , you will see a messge with a code in it.
