Okay, so some of us jumped the gun--
So we put "SpaceRaceUserName" on the Contact Us form, and then, oopsie!...Staff came and told us all it was a typo, and it was "Space Race UserName" after all.
So, me, being a good rule-abiding player, went back and sent the correct "Space Race" entry in.

And now: "Multiple entries will not be accepted..."

...I WAS TRYING TO FOLLOW THE RULES! BOTH OF THEM!!

Has my near-bankruptcy and 20,000c of hard work now been disqualified because somebody else fixed a typo five minutes before airtime, and I didn't read a forum post in time??
I protest my innocence! I demand an appeal! I was framed!!!!

Wait, so when you send in the correct way they said you were disqualified?

..Uh, did you read the other part of the rules where they told you they won't tell you ANYTHING??

VMK is good at screwing these things up, huh?

I think what the email means is that you can't have more than one actual set of rooms to compete with. I'd take it as you are able to compete, but can only compete with one entry. just my opinion though. don't take my word for it.

I took it more as their computer assigning a list of rooms to visit (hence the whole pre-registering hassle), and auto-deleting any attempts for contestants to "push" their status on the list with multiple posts. As is common for most automated sweepstakes contests.

Of course, that system doesn't allow for reasonable human error on (ahem) EITHER SIDE... >:0

I don't understand why we have to type in both the player's screen name and the name of the start room, when the name of the start room is determined by the player's screen name.

Seems to me they'd be able to figure out that my start room would be called "Space Race Neoteny."

But, whatever. Them's the rules.

Okay...So them are.

I want closure.
I demand closure.
I'm not going to be able to enjoy the holidays without some tangible sense that I was not sent down the river in vain...WHAT'S THE PRIZE?

What treasure has been snatched from my grasp by other hands, before the competition has even begun?--A pink tiki, a Stitch transporter, a gold SM shuttle, what??
What am I going to be spending the next month fanatically trying to trade for, just because now there's some invisible staff member out there who OWES me Big-Time for it?--What name may I put to the white whale I am now fated to pursue, around Perdition's flame?

I'm guessing the prize package will include an Epcot Turnstile.

That would be pretty cool, Neoteny. However, I can't imagine them restricting the turnstile to the Competition. Perhaps a variation of the turnstile, but I expect to see the turnstile sold at some point in time.

They gave away the Animal Kingdom guest room as a prize for the Everest competition, and then later made it a quest prize. I think maybe something similar might happen with the Epcot turnstiles.

Why don't we all just make a petition and demand this thingy that you're talking about?
The same thing happened to me LAST competition.

It simply says "...are not allowed"

I doubt you will get disqualified. However, ask a CL to speak with staff about that issue.
