Trip to Planet Scare Bear is a 3 Room ride that takes you from Scary Space Station to the tropical paradise known as Scare Bear. Planet Scare Bear is in the Solar System Nebuscarras (Solar System 8 on the Galactic Atlas)
Scare Bear got it's name from it's founder, Scare Bearticous (2304-2401).
Before you enter Scare Bear's orbit and enter it's atmosphere you will pass by one if it's biggest moons which is known for it's big sign and scientific colony on the surface.
Cosmos Virtual Magazine says that "The sights and views on Scare Bear are probably the best in the Galaxy. It's a good place to get away from civilization and technology and to relax. When Scare Bear's sun goes down you can see millions of stars, planets, and gas clouds due to the lack of civilization, with the exception of the resort. The sky at night is just as colorful as the planet's surface. No wonder this planet resort has a Five Star rating!"



This thread is my own little official ride thread. It will be used for advertisement when the judging starts, and to get you guys excited about it before judging (Ok maybe you won't be excited because it's just a ride...).


Status: Open For Riders



Ride Rules:

-Taken/Bay.be - Discussion of these things will not be aloud on my ride. These things disrupt the peace and cause arguments among players. Offenders will be booted.
- Arguing/Fighting - Arguing and fighting disrupt the peace and cause more problems than solve. Please respect other's opinions by not getting into heated discussions, but rather ignore or walk away from those who promote arguing. Those who decide to ignore this rule will be booted (both offenders. It will not matter who started it or not).
- Trading - Trading will be aloud in the room, but keep in mind that others may want to ride and ride and get on to the next ride. Do not open a trade request unless you have asked the person first. Exception: Trading in the start room will not be aloud if the room has a queue for people to get it. If so you will be instructed to either get on the ride (again if you have already ridden it) or leave, unless you have permission to stay. This is so everyone gets a chance to ride. My trade will be turned off so please do not ask. I will be focused on helping people, answering questions, instructing riders, welcoming riders ect.
- Insulting - Although I will be booting those who are arguing, if the arguing is one way (lets say someone is calling you names or disrespecting you and you nicely tell them to stop) then the trouble maker will be booted.
- "You're in the way" - Please be aware of where you are standing before you go afk. Do not block the start piece so others can not get on the ride, and do not block the teleporter that leads back to the start room. If you are asked to move multiple times (and you are in the way) you will be booted. This is so people do not get stuck or are prevented from enjoying the ride. (although I tried to make the ride so this would be prevented).
- Other inappropriate conduct - If you are "dictionary dancing" in my ride to say inappropriate things and things that are not aloud within vmk, you will not only be booted, but reported. I will not tolerate un-G-rated conduct in my ride.
- Begging/Free - My ride is not a free room to get stuff. It is for riding and enjoying. So please do not ask me or anyone in the room for free stuff. But if you have any questions or need any help you can ask me, or any community leader present in my start room, or any person willing to help!
- Respect all VMK Values - Most of my rules (some or most) coincide with VMK values, but I do not have to mention them all. You are required to follow all the VMK Values or you will be booted and reported.
- Have fun and enjoy the ride! - My most important rule. Have fun! Enjoy the ride and don't forget to notice "The Moon" letters in my second room. You can also get off the ride at the last room to hang out and enjoy the tropical paradise.

Yes lol. That fact that it spells the moons can be missed. I have a couple people not realize it until someone said so lol :)
I really hope I get top ten. If you can tell I am going for most creative :) So far the feedback from my riders has been really great! :D

Well if anyone copied me we all know who did it first. I had probably a hundred or more people ride my ride already. Plus it is really expensive to do (the letters) you have to have like 5 or 6 (or more) teleporters.
I did not have enough to do those. I was thinking about putting a start piece in the moon room just in case someone falls off.

Hmmm... Well.. I don't know, if she had the idea before she saw my ride I guess it is ok but if she saw my ride and decided to do it... I'm not sure (it might be considered copying... I don't know tho) the reason I'm not sure is because if I had the idea first but someone got the idea to do it from my ride and they got a prize and I didn't, I don't know if that would be fair because I would have had the idea first.
I'll think on it, but in the mean time, what do you guys think?

There wasn't a rule that said we have to, but even if there was I would not have enough to get that many stoppers.

I took out the ride preview pictures so no one would. I let people ride it because I needed some feedback on my ride from other people out there. I am not opening it today because I will be gone.

I had the letters TB spelled with ice blocks and dead man’s chests in the slide ride, and a teammate from the Everest ride spelled 2006 with traveler’s chests.

It doesn’t say anything in the rules that you have to, and the 2 previous rides didn’t require them. I didn’t do it for the Everest ride, but I did for the Slide ride. It was personal preference for me. I wanted people to enjoy and move along. If they would like to see it more please ride the ride again.

I don’t think I’ll do it this time because it will take away from my ride. I also saw from past experience that there isn’t that much need to keep people on the track and moving to reduce the cue.

I would definitely think so. Many people have done this before. It is not an entirely new concept.

Now saying that, I wouldn't think it was ok to do either of the words that CL_Scarry has done. That would just not be cool. Take the idea and make it your own change it some how make it unique.

Oh she had the idea before she saw my ride? Well then I would say she could. She would not be copying because she had the idea before she saw mine. I just wanted to make sure :)

Well the first and last room had a little make over. I changed and redecorated a lot of it. So it is a lot better. I love the main room now! It is so my style and my colors. The last room has more stuff, like palm trees. I love it! It is very tropical and tiki-ish. I had a few friends ride it and they like the last room better now, along with the first one. I did not do anything with the moon. I just don't know how I can decorate that. It's like the ride pieces and the words are decor enough. Shock the riders with the ride in the second room, and shock them with the decor in the last room is my motto. But anyway you guys will love it once I release it for riders. I will be letting people ride it next Friday. I will not be home Saturday and Sunday tho. :(

I haven't been too concerned about people copying my ride. It took me a couple hundred thousand credits and a few weeks to build, so I think that should be enough to discourage copycats.
