Wow, a poster not featuring Harry himself. Creepy one, too.

What actors are playing the new characters?

(Oh, and can we please keep spoilers out of this thread? Not everybody has read the book.)

Just downloaded the trailer. It doesn't show much, but it's still enough to get me excited.

I'm going to miss this series after it's done.

It's about time Helena Bonham Carter got involved in this series!

I'm not familiar with Imelda Staunton, but the casting in these movies has been so good so far that I'm sure she'll be perfectly horrible as Umbridge (and that's a good thing!).

I'm very excited over this new movie as Order of the Phoenix is my favorite book of the series. I can't wait to see the new characters such as the Death Eaters (Bellatrix) and Dawlish (anyone who listens to PotterCast will get that ;)) I can go on and on about how much I love Harry Potter but I'll spare you.

Yeah, but she's not as toad-like as it describes in the books.

Well, this one looks really exciting. I wasn't very fond of the book, but the teaser poster is just Awesome. The only thing I am worried about, though, is that the director is a relative newcomer, and this is going to be his first major, non-television series, picture. Unfortanately I don't live in England so I can't judge the quality of his works, but they must be good for WB to hire him.

Same pretty much goes for Nicholas Hooper, the composer, I haven't heard any of his works, and am slightly afraid the score might be a John Williams-theme rehash, ala Superman II.

I'm sure the score will at least include Williams's main Potter theme. Have to keep that continuity, you know.

I am really not a big fan of the Harry potter series, and Will never be. Just my opinion. Although I am glad the series is still standing strong, because My last year teacher loves Harry potter, and alot of my classmates. I am pleased that this is not over, I just want to call my teacher right now and tell her!

I hope they don't rush the movie like they did the forth. Although that will prove difficult since the book is 800 pages long and they cannot have a four hour movie.

Or worse, NC-17.

Oh, but a 4-hour HP movie would be so cool!

I had a dream that the 5th movie would be 4 hours a few months ago! I went to see the movie at 5:00, and it ended at 9:00.

I would love that!

No, its not Patrick Doyle, this is Nicholas Hooper. Patrick Doyle's a pretty experienced British composer, so it was fine that he tried to bring his own style. Nicholas Hooper is a newcomer, and this is going to be by Far his largest project.
