Here I have collected some valuable resources that anybody just coming to the forums should visit and pay attention to.

FAQ - http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com/index.php/Frequently_Asked_Questions
Available by clicking FAQ on the toolbar above.
Answers basic questions you may have about the forums.

The Wiki - http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com
A literal encyclopedia of everything you want to know about VMK, ToonTown, and the Forums. If you ever have anything you question, please check the wiki first.

Site Rules and Guidelines - http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com/index.php/Policies_and_Disclaimers#Site_Guidelines_For_ToonT ownCentral.com_and_VMKForums.com
If you ever have a question about one of the rules or terms we use for bad things, check this out. It is also a good idea to read the rest of the page, but this is mostly what you want to read before you post.

Live Chat Guide - http://www.disneysonlineworlds.com/index.php/Live_Chat/IRC_Guide
VMKForums provides a Live Chat Room (also referred to as IRC chat) that a few members like to hang around in. If you plan to ever use it, this guide should defintely be read.

VMK Forums Guide - http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2583
A listing of what each forum is for, and what should be posted there. Also explains each function on the toolbar above.

How to join Group Memberships - http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=621683&postcount=2
This takes you to the actual post, not thread.
Explains how to join groups, like the VMKPal support group (which you should definitely check out), the Secrets group which has spoilers and etc., Rants, Disney Channel Fan Club, and RPG. Also the TRADING forum. See below.

How to trade - http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66910
You cannot trade without joining this group. PLEASE read this if you wish to trade. Note: Before you'll be accepted, mods will make sure you are not brand new and have some posts.

How to get a signature - http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1185
Explains how you can donate to VMKForums and get special priveleges. (Yes, you can only use PayPal)

Before VMK Opened - Well, they moved the thread to a secret place no one can see O_o Sorry guys.

Tips:

-If you want to start a new thread, go to the correct section of the boards (see Becky's guide, which is on this list under VMK Forums Guide) then on the top left corner of the page click the button that says "New Thread" and there you can create your post.

Other oddities explained:

-You can't post in the News Articles section. If you really want to have your thread in the news, post it elsewhere and mods will move it if deemed real reliable news.

-If you see any reference to EKB, you will also see people referring to an "evil rabbit" he is a supposed hacker that acts like a rabbit and likes carrots. He has caused havoc on VMKf.. especially on Halloween - Night of the Evil WereRabbit (But isn't that Bunnicula? :D)

-If you want to edit the wiki, you'll have to apply and be accepted by Nick. And he happens to be the site's owner and main admin. Check out the wiki forum for more information, but basically get a few good posts on your record, show your helpfulness, then email an application at applications@disneysonlineworlds.com

Have fun!

Well, yeah. But I did post a link to there and that was more of an actual Forum guide if I remember correctly. Like explaining specifically what goes in each forum. This is sorta different.

aeoboa when you click on a thread title ( for example Guest Rooms if you are posting your guest room )
You see all of the boards made in the top left part of the highest board shown you can click where it says: new thread ( which you make your own ) then you put the title and the words and even smilies if you want :)

No, paying is optional. But you have to pay if you want a signature.

While payment is optional you do get many advantages to your donation.
Not only do you get the upgrades at whatever level you donate to, but the money helps keeping the site running smoothly.

Ooh, that's a really great guide!
I'm sure it would help me so much if I was new here!

Just a question, when I click on the Before VMK Opened link, it says I don't have permission to access the page...is that normal?

I feel it would be appropriate to add a section about the rep system. It is very difficult for some to understand (I had trouble learning it when I was new) so it would be very helpful. Just a suggestion!
