It's awesome, there's a crow's nest hat and a stick that can be stacked like crates, and a pirate hat seat thing...

EDIT: I must get that stuff! Would anyone be kind enough (when the stuff comes out) to trade the hat to me?

I am Posting from disneyland right now i got on tour today i will see if anything has changed and see if they had switched it now if not i will also be back to do it agian next tuesday since haunted goes down monday so i will report if i find anything new today

I have heard that it will replace the haunted mansion quest when it goes on refurbishment for haunted mansion holiday.

because of the haunted mansion holiday,the questions and answers will not
apply to the nightmare before xmas theme.

thats it im going to WDW in may/april and ya cant stop me from doing the quest i need that crows nest sooo bad

:twocents: :reporter: update, i saw yavn show that the nest is breakable so you can do 1 at a time in other words, unlimited crows nest space, anyway, a window (yes a window) with............(drumroll) fire!! anyway, sand and treasure carpets, and a seat that looks like a real short bed but it may be a a couch. thx

I assume that the pirate quest will be just like the haunted mansion quest because there have been six items posted so far and i think it will be one item for every question you get right you get one item just like the haunted mansion quest. I also think that if you get all the questions right you will get pirate prison because in another thread it said that pp will be given out on a new quest. Again this is just my assumption so don't take it as the truth. :piratesk:

I am excited! Those things are so cool. LOL, Mini is so slow. I am still looking for all those other quest items. Going on all quests available next trip to WDW (my father said it might be before next summer)

So we get a piece of the Sacked Town as a room divider, a part of a mast for table stacking, a crow's nest style seat, a new rug featuring scattered coins (about time there was a new rug!), a chair featuring the skeleton looking at the map, and the seagull's nest from the first skeleton you see from the ride.

If my count is right, that equals out to 6 prizes. I bet you prize 7 is Pirate Prison if they are following the style of the Haunted Mansion Quest (6 prizes = 1 prize per question. Get 100%, get the room).

Sorry Alexander but I think i beat you to the punch by almost three hours on the relation of pirate quest to haunted mansion quest. If I am being rude I am very sorry, but my post was on page four.

Wow. The couch is pretty funny: it's the skeleton guy in bed from one of the first scene's on Disneyland's POTC attraction. (When I worked at Disneyland I got to "walk" the attraction after park closing and I actually sat next to that guy! :D)

Btw, maxyboy, I am pretty sure the it was posted yesterday in another thread that this quest would replace the Haunted Mansion one. :) Not that it really matters who said it first, you, Alexander, or Santa Clause, but there it is if you wanna know. :)

Oh Shiregirl i was not saying it would replace the haunted mansion quest i was saying that I was the first to post it would probably be just like the haunted mansion quest in terms of how it was set up. Again if i am being rude or arrogant I am sorry.

I was disappointed my first visit to Disneyland in 15 years would find the Haunted Mansion closed for the holiday overlay, but this news makes up for that loss! Thanks! I just hope this is all available by next weekend!

I did do tour today and Tour guide said first offical day is monday she said she gets her script that morning and they do it that day that is what she said so most likely monday or tuesday i will be back on the tour....Pirate stuff here i come

Um......I was always under the impression, ever since Pirates first opened, that the skeleton sitting up in bed was...... a SHE, admiring herself in her mirror. I thought there were other "female" cues in the room, as well. Have I been wrong all these years? :confused:

Female pirates have never made an appearance in the ride, and the guy you're referring to died looking through a magnifying glass. He was using it to inspect some of the fabulous bling he'd collected during his (by the looks of it) rather successful career. Of course how he was able to die in such an unnatural position..and stay that way for almost 40 years remains a mystery..but in any case, he's a guy, you're wrong, the end. ;)

in fact the "man" is the captain. some of you may have noticed the sign in the room that says "captain's quarters".
in other news though i love the new quest items i can't wait until tuesday (my birthday) to go do them. i will most likely have doubles of somethings(possibly up for trade), since me and my girlfriend are both doing the vmk activities. but she doesn't play vmk. lucky me.
my only gripe is that now i can't get the haunted mansion room. which is one of the things i was looking forward to most. :(

I think the crow hat looks edited but it's just my opinion. The bar stool is a must have!! *twitch in eye*

In my opinion, it's not all that great but would be cool to have! I'm not a pirate person.

hey, Look At What I Saw!That's a Bandanna. I guess that's one of the three hats that will come out with the Pirate Costume.

Right now, there is photo evidance of three items in the head and top slot.

Head - Bandanna, Pirate Hat, Capitan Hat (I'm not counting the Seagull hat)
Top - Pirate shirt, Pirate Shirt with Vest, Pirate Jacket
