Ever since vmk closed down yesterday for 2 hours i have not been able to log into vmk. I would only get the black screen and it would stick there. I never had this problem before and have noticed that it would usually happen with slower connections or shockwave errors, but those are not my problems.
Any Suggestions?

This is exactly what you need to do and in addition there is a new shockwave update so get that taken care of also and then restart your computer. GL

I have seen a recent increase in the amount of players each day, especially in the morning when there it is close to 1,000 players on when it used to be around 500. The problems must be with the vmk servers as the new holiday decorations are putting strain on them. What you need to do is restart the system, clear most internet data (cookies, chache, download history, saved forms, etc...) you may also want to do a system scan of your hard drive and any extra drives you may have on your computer. If all of this doesn't work you probably close to filling up your memory space on the computer, and you may want to delete and uninstall programs that you don't use anymore to see if that can clear up some space. If all else fails, delete and reinstall shockwave and contact vmk about your issues with it. Hope I helped :)
