Half of the pictures on pages are just coming out as errors or text. Here are some examples.

This is happening on IE also.
Does anyone know why this is happening or how I could fix it?

Ack, I hate when that happens. Try rebooting your computer?

It's happening on IE also. I've rebooted several times. I even tried a system restore, but I always get an error.

That has happened to me before. It went away after a while though.

Ok i think i found whats up. A red X usually means that the website tried and cant download the picture. When you get a little picture like the ones in your post it means that the site is trying to download the pictures, eventually if you waited a while it would show the picture or show the red X.
Most likely there is a security option selected in your settings that is blocking the pictures from downloading.
"Most browsers allow you to turn off downloading pictures completely, as a way to download only the text of a website faster. The first step would be to check to make sure that's configured properly. In Internet Explorer, that's in Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, and then in the Multimedia section of the list, there's an item Show Pictures.
If that's set properly to show pictures, then you might check to see if you have any ad-blocking or content filtering software installed. Sometimes they can erroneously start blocking everything that isn't text."

This is strange, but everything slowly came back. First, I could see the logo, then everything else just eventually showed up.
Thanks for the help everyone.
