The maze will have three levels of difficulty, with different rewards for completing each. You can complete each level as many times as you wish, but to be sure there are enough virtual prizes for everyone, we ask that you limit yourself to one prize per level.

If you reach the end of the maze and a VMK Staff member isn't there, please wait; they might be out looking for a lost explorer!

We want to be sure a staff member is on hand to help find anyone who gets lost (and of course reward everyone who survives it!) so the maze will operate under the following hours (all times are Eastern):

Friday September 9:
Opens at 4:00pm, closes at 7:00pm (last reward given at 7:30pm)
Opens at 9:00pm, closes at 11:00pm (last reward given at 11:30pm)

Saturday September 10:
Opens at Noon, closes at 3:30pm (last reward given at 4:00pm)
Opens at 6:00pm, closes at 9:30pm (last reward given at 10:00pm)

Sunday September 11:
Opens at Noon, closes at 3:30pm (last reward given at 4:00pm)
Opens at 6:00pm, closes at 9:30pm (last reward given at 10:00pm)

Monday September 12:
Opens at 4:00pm, closes at 7:00pm (last reward given at 7:30pm)
Opens at 8:00pm, closes at 10:00pm (last prize rewarded given at 10:30pm)

I am excited, an event were I don't have to spend a ton of credits decorating a room. I hope this turns out very well. As far as where it is, I'm sure it will start in a staff guest room and link to several other staff guest rooms.

Maybe if you get thourgh level three you will get Inferno maybe lol.

Here's what is happening with more detail:

The VMK Staff Members and some Community Leaders will create mazes or puzzles for you to walk through.
Each time you complete a level of the maze, a VMK Staff Member will give you a prize if you make it to the end. There are different prizes for each level ( Don't know the prizes )

Note: If you finish the maze and a VMK Staff Member isn't there, just wait because they might be looking for a Lost Explorer!

We are not the people who make the mazes by the way. The a-maze-ing day will begin on Friday, September 9, 2005 to Monday, September 12, 2005 ( Opening of Hong Kong Disneyland ). Good luck and hope you make it!

*sighs* :( Well, so much for thinking there was going to be a best room competition involving a maze. Oh well.

I wonder what the prizes will be. Yavn and the others said the next event will be the next chance you get the inferno pin. Maybe you'll get that for beating the most difficult maze set up.

Hehe.. i knew something was up. No my room is not in it but i went to VMK_Mocha and saw one of the mazes hehe. Anyway i can't wait for this. Who is ready to get lost lol. Anyway i can not wait for the a-maze-ing maze.

I have heard from Phinny she has not heard anything about a costume, as of prizes who knows I am kinda glad there is no room competition, it just makes you spend time on vmk competing to get judged instead of playing. I think staff added a very nice twist lol.

I'm glad that I'll be able to make most of the hours for the mazes, except for like one time. ;)

I'm ready for a challenge that will be more thinking oriented than reaction time. Puzzles that rely on wits and ingenuity are my favorites. And you are not competeing against fellow VMKers, but with them! SO my question is:

The lines are what I'm wodering about myself. Will there be several level 1 rooms for example, or just one? Think about how hard it was to get into the staff rooms when we had the pin trading event. If there is only one starting point for each level, most of us will have a really difficult time getting in.

I'm glad they have lots of different times and spread it out over 4 days too. I am worried about the timing though if they do use teleporters. It would be great if they would use CL's to help with traffic flow. Since I just got my CL badge yesterday, guess I'll try and volunteer to do that!

We'll see after the event mazes open. I'd be very surprised if they copy me for the "hard" difficulty maze.

I found numerous CL_'s helping, CL_Nedakh has a maze. I was just in his maze room, and let me tell you it ROCKS. His is probably in the hardest level though. Also I think that CL_Kaironzet has one too. We all know his puzzle. I think he made it a maze for the event. I also found out that sadly CL_MrLunatix was going to be in it, but has to go to a Katrina fundraiser. From a source in VMK CL_GreatGatsby has a maze. The source was in CL_GreatGatsby's room while CL_GreatGatsby was talking to VMK_Babs about tomorrow, and how his room was going to be. From what I hear CL_GreatGatsby's maze will be pretty diffucult. Another CL_ who created a maze was CL_Enderz. All these and more should be out tomorrow.

I am pretty sure that all of the mazes will be full. I wasnt evern to trade once
during the trading event. I wasted 2 days trying to get into rooms, and then
the game would crash.

I will try for a few hours to get into the mazes, but I will not waste an entire weekend again.

Yes i got to see some of the mazes :rolleyes: . Some look awesome, others hard, others easy but wow they are some nice mazes. It is going to be hard on some of the mazes trust me word. ;)

well i can say that there will be no maze in my rooms :( guess you had to be hand picked by staff to help on the event. i did try to ask more than one VMK_[insert name here] about the event but was kicked out there rooms for asking to come in. guess i was not meant to help out.

VMK_(Insert title here) said that they were having trouble with the teleporters, and she/he said they were getting "evil" on the people doing the mazes. She/he said that they will do it at a later event.
