Hey all,

I just thought that maybe we should have polls on VMKF to rate the rarity of items in the Wiki. I could get pictures of the stars for magic and use those for ratings.

What do you all think?

My personal opinion

We should be careful before we start adding opnions to the wiki. Right now it is filled with factual information, and this is great. We need to add more facts still. Keeping it filled with facts will help people judge the true value of an item to them.

Adding an opinon, even in the form of a poll, can mislead people to what the value of an item is. Particularly if we're just presenting a "star rating" and not being clear about what issues impact that rarity. And some of those issues we can't document correctly (for example, we don't know how many white snowmen there are compared to gold snowmen, but we also don't know if either will be re-released).
