Do you know this for sure or are you assuming? Unless you can cite a source that correctly states that something is going to be done, do not post such rumors without adding something to the effect of: "I hope that", or "Maybe, I think"

We do not tolerate rumor spreading here in the forums as it adds to many problems (wait, just like in real life!)

I can appreciate that but unless there is a screen shot showing this, it is still a rumor. Thank you for your help, though.

Sweet! Holiday Quest!! Now all I need is convince my parents that I need to go again (would be third time this year)!!

More ears? As in for us regular folks? Did he sort of halfway almost indicate whether they would be in-park or in-game? I'm guessing in-park since both black and gold were in-park. I hope they do "Year of a Million Dreams" ears for VMK!! I have the blinky-light kind from the park and they are SO awesome!! Really helps when you want to spot someone in the dark!! Sorry - a bit of off-topic there....

Now for some conjecture on turnstiles..... Does anyone else think they are kind of unnecessary? I mean, it says in the Newsletter that ppl who make quests can use these turnstiles to earn credits to buy prizes, but I just put random junk I end up with in the machine (it's an easy quest) and everyone is happy. Do you think they will look like the existing turnstiles or be totally different? Maybe they will look like the roll-bar type turnstiles at the parks....

Hmm... Why pay to get into a normal random guest room, when you can just see the room from the door? ;)

This is what i believe....

i think the turnstiles are going to be for the rides to earn more money to continue making rides as an incentive. I believe the guest machines we have now will upgrade to allow us to charge as an additional option

The purpose of the charge I believe is an incentive to give better quest prizes, or to give something back to those that have done quest with the prizes being rarer then the buyables :) Personally I like the option, if the time and effort was put into making a truely great quest, and your giving the chance to win some awesome prizes a little reward for that is nice.

Oh is that what it was? I wondered but never made a connection. One thing I noticed today - the turnstiles in my inventory have a different picture now: they're turned a different way. Anyone else notice this or is it just me?

they have turned in some inventories and some ppl are still seeing the same veiw...


check the newslettter on home page if you don't believe me on this, but here is what Yavn said:
"So you took a ride on the Space Mountain Ride-A-Thon this weekend, pretty cool huh? We hoped you enjoyed the event, it was free this go 'round, but that will soon change. How you may ask? Well, we'll start charging you a few credits to get in on these events and here's why: As you know we're always listening to our players, many of you told have us that you love making Quests - but having good prizes for those Quest can be a problem. Our solution? Allow room owners to charge entry for an event. As a Quest Maker, you'll be able to set Turnstiles to 4 different costs (0 credits, 5 Credits, 50 Credits and 100 Credits). As a Quester, players will be able to see the type of Quest offered as well as the prizes available for that Quest before they enter a turnstile. Quests are not the only uses for the turnstile, I can see rides, cafes and exclusive events all taking advantage of this option. We'll be testing turnstiles and entry fees for rooms over the next few weeks. I'll have more news on that soon..."
