Aloha All!

Today I made a quest, very fun. I worked hard on the quest, and wanted people to enjoy it. The first prize is snowman magic.

Super long story short, someone used many accounts and played my quest till they knew all the answers, and got first place. They are now in the top of my leader board. I am very saddened to see that a cheater will get my snowman magic.

However, YOU can help prevent this. I am asking for everyone's help to get this cheater off the leader board. They are a Guest.

If you would like to help, please search my title on VMK (AceLollipop) and you will find my quest. Play it as fast as you can so you can beat the cheater.

If you can beat the cheater, I will reward you more then just the prize in the quest.

So sorry that this post is a messy and frantic one, but my quest ends in four hours and would really hate to see a cheater get my hard earned prizes.

i will help in about 10 minutes, when i am done doing this ride-a-thon ride, im in the queve for it right now. You sure it's not just an actual Guest playing?

They are a real person, they are just a guest becausae that is one of there many accounts they used till they got first place. Staff was contacted, came, and did not understand the situation and did nothing.

Hmm, i'm going to quit the quest and keep trying.

Unfortunately I don't think staff can do anything about this. Can you prove that this Guest is not a regular player and a mule of another player? It's going to be difficult to prove.

Ok, let me tell a little about the issue. I made a quest, and a VMK member thought it was ok to write down all the answers, and then play the quest on other accounts till she got first place. She did just that, and was first place on the leader board. The first place prize was snowman magic, and I would not stand for a cheater getting my favorite type of magic pin!

First I asked a CL what I should do. He said to contact staff, because if I stopped the quest, the cheater would be given the prize. So I used the in game help button and explained the problem to staff.

I got a reply from staff to use the contact us button on the main VMK site. This would not due, because my quest would have timed out by then! I sent another call for help in game, and told them that. I asked for in game help..

About 10 minutes later, VMK_LoLo came into my room. I explained to her the problem with the cheater I had. Two of these people said they had cheated, but it might have just been the same person of differnet accounts. They both admited to cheating BEFORE staff came. When she came, it was a different story. They said they never did, and made it seem like they did nothing wrong. VMK_LoLo went with them, and I don't think she understood the situation at hand. She told me to quit it, or she would close down the room. Not much help... VMK_Sunny came into the room later, but only said "hi"

So, I asked for your help! I posted this message on three different fan sites, and I got a great reply! 100s of people came to my room, to help beat the cheater! They all tried their best on my quest, and THEY understood that what they did was cheating. I was so happy that everyone was coming to help out.

I had to go afk during this time, but still got to check back in now and then. I was so happy with what I saw. People were STILL coming to try and beat this cheater, and kick them off the leader board! We had a super kind person at the door greeting everyone for coming inside! We had a VMK player who even was offering an additional prize from their pocket if they could beat the cheater! How sweet I thought. Also, many of my friends helped while I was afk in explaining the problem, and what was going on. After seeing such a negative reply by staff, I was amazed at how much everyone could do!

At that time, I thought to myself that even if the cheater gets the prize, there is MUCH MORE good people in this virtual land then bad! I was sure of this and the thought that so many of these people (friends, and random players) would come and help ME. They could have been going on the ride a thon to get sildes so they could become rich, but no. They came out and showed that they cared, and that cheaters should not win!

Well, they say cheaters never win, and they don't! We had two heros beat the cheaters score, and 100s who tried their best! I am so glad that the saying "Cheaters never win" was shown to be true today!

winsome_wasp got first place, and beat the cheater! We also had another player come in second, but I can't recall his/her title.

I'd like to give a HUGE HUGE thank you to everyone who helped me. I find it so rude that someone would cheat on a quest that another person works hard on, and puts prizes into, but together, you all proved that the bad guys never win! Thank you so much! I loved to see so many caring players.

If it's a cheater, for the sake of your magic, stop the quest.
Im sure if the other players hear why, they would understand.

just wondering how did you know they were a cheater

Maybe thinking outside the box - beat them at their own game. Set up or use another account of your own - you made the quest, you should know the fastest way to beat it and win the Snowman yourself! Then you can modify the quest and reoffer the prize (or another). Maybe the cheater won't play again? Just a thought:pirate:
