This looks like a pathetic attempt to make some easy money off of us for some codes that could have otherwise been put into a new quest. And naturally, I'm going to be drawn in like everyone else.

It looks like one pin doesn't even come with a virtual prize (take a good look at the Goofy Overboard pin and it's card backing).

In terms of new VMK Furnishings:

Dodge Ball Dale comes with the new Ship's Bow Chair

Jolly Chip comes with the new Ship's Stern Chair

Mickey's Reward comes with the new Gold Treasure Chair

Come November 11th, looks like I'll be calling WDW Merchandising with these SKU's to get my hands on these codes. Great! LOL

I think it's a nice way to market some more tangible items related to VMK. Even if it's a rip-off, you've have to love Disney Marketing! :)

I Predict................ the value of these pirate items are gonna go down.

Bunches of people are gonna buy this (just like bunches bought the gold mickey ears) and they won't be worth too much any more.

So if you have those stuff, you might want to get something for it before it starts losing it's value!

More on topic: the seagull hat with donald is too cute!

Wow! Im going to Disney soon to see my sister sing in the candlelight processional, and I am so getting the pile of gold pin for that pile of gold chair! ( andim getting the five golden rings holiday pin :p.)

I know that all the changes that Disney has undgone may be for money, but you have to admit Disney still is number 1 when it comes to leading edge family entertainment.
Disney still touches the young, the old, the famed, the average, the wanna-bees and even has room for generations to come.
I am just happy that Walt Disney's dream grows with ours.
Whatever the reason for the new VMK Disney pins, I feel that we now can Virtually enjoy Disney or Actually enjoy Disney in the Parks.

I think it's pretty cool, I just wish all of it was new stuff instead of the old pirate quest stuff. I know some of it is new but still...

All ten pins have the same SKU!

From the looks of this I don't think we can specify which pins we want to buy. It looks like we just send them our 14 bucks and they send us two random pins (with the corresponding VMK cards) from the series.

That just ain't right. How hard is it going to be to complete the set if we don't even know what we're buying?

That's why they did it. ;) So instead of buying 5 sets with two pins you can choose, they want you to buy 5 sets to start off with, and then you realize that you don't have them all, so you order more and more until you have the full set.

I better start saving. I better start a Christmas list.....Oh Mommy....
