This was actually rumored to be out last year, as a park quest item possibly, but never came out. Glad it came out this year though wonder what other items the game developers maybe holding back for future release.

Odd that it didn't come out when VMK first opened today. But they had a lot going on.

Anyway, it's a very cool hat. :)

Yeah and it isn't called "Nightmare Before The Nonspecific Winter-time Celebration" either..although I hear it was suggested by Disney before the 3D re-release. I'm pretty sure Santa and Christmas are exclusive. Why are they afraid to state the obvious? If VMK truly feels it's an issue, why do they even have Christmas or Santa in the dictionary? Are those of non-Christian faiths any less likely to purchase a Santa hat because it's actually called a Santa hat? Is calling it by any other name really going to spare anyone's feelings if they're the type to take offense over such a ridiculous thing in the first place?

There's no way we can know for sure, of course, but it seems likely that the holiday hat will be around at least until Christmas, yes.

I was wondering how long it would be around also. It seems if I buy several they're around for a long time, if I don't, they are gone the next day. BTW, anyone notice when the bear skin rug was taken off? I just noticed it was gone yesterday. I'm kind of glad since I bought several.
