Yes, the December holiday decorations are up!

Halloween has been put to rest until next year - I always love the jaunty music on VMK streets and orange pumpkins, but it is time for the snowy season.

You can't quite tell from the picture... The orange VMK progress bar is out and a new green one is now there in its place. The snowman page that is used as the transition from one room to another is adorable.

It is early but I'm not complaining. Usually in the parks the Halloween decorations change from Halloween to Christmas the night of Thanksgiving. The next day Halloween is gone and everything is Christmas. I expected VMK to do the same but again I'm not complaining.

All i can say is WOW!!!! VMK really went all out this year... last year they didnt even decorate until; a month or so away... and thn it wasn't like this!! AMAZING :)

I LOVE it - it is so charming. I feel like I'm transported for an instant to WDW and the Magic Kingdom. It's playing a different song when you enter each room during the walk up Main Street!

First of all, I want to congratulate the developers and staff for this awesome showing of vmk holiday spirit. They have really outdone themselves and with all the new additions it wants to make me put up my Christmas decorations. So congratulations vmk developers for this outstanding achievement :)

VMK really went all out this year... last year they didnt even decorate until; a month or so away... and thn it wasn't like this!! AMAZING :)Last year it was only the Esplanade that was decorated, and that was not until well into December. We thought those Halloween decorations would never come down!

I am amazed, flabbergasted, delighted at the way they've done it up this year. Way to go, VMK!

Yup! :D It all came out today.

Remind me to yell at them for putting up Christmas (not general holiday) decorations too early. Halloween just ended and it's not even Thanksgiving yet.

Its funny, the schedule of taking the Halloween decor is different than last year. Way different. I like the Christmas stuff being up so early, I really like it. Christmas is my most FAVORITE holiday. Erm, did I say that about Halloween too? I just love all the Holidays in the world.

Exactly, since all of the shopping malls, stores, or other retailers here in the USA decorate for Thanksgiving and wait to put out their Christmas stuff until November 24, the day after Thanksgiving ;)

Notice than none of the new or old items that were on sale went out (such as furniture and pins). All in good time i guess.

Well, I will say I dont celebrate it either. But, Look at Disney during the holidays. It definitly is dressed up for christmas. They are well aware that there are other holidays. This is just the one during the season the Walt liked to celebrate. VMK is just tring to be like disney. It is Virtural Magic Kingdom, anyway. Anyway, I love all the now decorations! Im so glad they did all of main street this year, and not just the esplanade. Though it would be a lot of work, it would be cool of VMK decorated the whole kingdom :).

I like the Holidays! What kinda upsets me is that people who are tryniug to take down thre tree or saying VMK is not fair. I mean VMK knows there are many different cultures, but they don't want big fights. VMK is trying to majke peacful holidays.

The reason why I think that VMK put Christmas up too early because it would be no since to put up the regular decorations up between Halloween and Christmas, because of the time and there would be no point. so they would just put up the Christmas stuff anyway

And some holidays come earlier than others and this year its more of a "Winter Celebration" than just Christmas. So all holidays are more included by putting up deocrations earlier, not just near Christmas specifically.

Nobody said these decorations were strictly Christmas. Halloween, sure, but that's just a night for kids to have fun. It doesn't neccesarily count as an actual holiday, at least not on my record. Am I getting out of school? No. Now Christmas.. well what exactly in VMK is Christmas? Everything is just winter themed. There's a tree, but it's an evergreen tree, and that is still a symbol of winter and the "brightness it provides all through the winter!" :rolleyes: I know people that celebrate Hannukah, not Christmas, that put a tree up because its just nice to remind them how fun winter is. :D

I mean it hasn't even been thanksgiving yet and I don't really like it how some people (i'm not saying all of you) like to skip from one holiday of recieving (Halloween) to another holiday of recieving (Christmas). It's fine to celebrate these holidays a lot it's just i don't like it when peeps ignore the holidays that involve being thankful. It makes me feel like when i'm an adult there won't even be a thanksgiving......scary
