What famous people have you seen in Disneyland, or DCA, Downtown Disney, in a place near Disneyland, but owned by Disney?

I've seen Shaq coming out of It's a Small World in WDW. Very tall dude especially over his body guards.

I think at WDW there is a High School Musical Show. Also at DLR, there was the Cheethah Girls and Aly & AJ. I guess Disney Parks is where stars like.

I've never seen anyone famous at WDW, but I heard in EPCOT that famous people can be seen at Iluminations. In front of Italy or some other country, there is a little area that is reserved for VIPs to watch the show from.

I did see some strange people because the last time I went there over the summer, my sister saw these 2 guys from her school. what are two odds that people we know would fly over at the same time? We know of people that said that they were even going to be in the same hotel on the same days, but we never saw them. once we found out that a person we knew was in the room below ours but we never saw them. what a small world it is after all.

I've seen Julie Andrews, LeAnn Rimes, and Christina Aguilara on May 5, 2005 for the 50th Celebration Kick-off.

Hold up, I've seen more people! all in MGM too, this was a few years ago, I forgot when xD. I also saw John Ritter, Katey Sagal, Martin Spanjers, Kaley Cuoco, Amy Davidson (Cast of 8 Simple Rules), Drew Carey and of course.. Kevin Bacon xD rofl.

I saw Whoopi GoldBerg several months ago at DLR getting on Space Mountain. She had a large group of people with her, and she had her hair in front of her face to help disguise herself.

I have had the fortune to have seen Lots and Lots of famous poeple at both WDW and DLR.
I was actaully at the opening of Planet Hollywood in WDW, WOW! That was awesome.

2 celebrities stand out in my mind.

I saw Roy Disney coming out the Team Disney building! He waved to me,and said "Hi".
He looks so much like Walt!

And My favorite was meeting Princess Diana and her children. It was the Summer of 1993. She was Special!

I've always wondered whether celebrities get special treatment at Disneyland. It would be a shame if they didn't get to go because of the crowds that would undoubtably surround them. Sometimes it's good to be an anonymous nobody.

If they are tremendously recognizable (such as - say - Micheal Jackson back when they would let him in) then that celebrity will require escort, security, and a VIP guide. For example, Bob Hope would have one huge part of the old Tahitian Terrace roped off for his group when he had dinner there.

On the other had, someone liek Spielberg is less likely be recognized by the average Joe, so he can often walk around like anyone else (albeit with a couple of plainclothes guards walking with him like other tourists). It often depends on what the celebrity needs and wants. Some just simply want to slum it.

FYI Jackson actually tried all he could to "buy" an apartment at Disneyland. (I never found out where he was thinking, but my guess would be a pre-Gallery New Orleans Square.) Eisner did not allow it to happen.

Mideval times is a place a few minutes away from disneyland. FUNKY place though. i wouldn't reccomend it. + they have overpriced smoothies and these pathetic little cheese sticks. :)

I've been on several of these tours at DLR and WDW. They're a lot of fun, and educational, too. Plus, you get special access to rides via "back doors." The tours are expensive, though, but they often come with a meal and an exclusive pin.

Lately celbrities have been gathering to WDW. I'm guessing it's because of the fact WDW has more new rides like everest and more parks.

Also went to the POTC2 premiere and was able to get the signature of Orlando Bloom, Kiera Knightly, and Jerry Bruckhiemer and other cool stars.

I also saw Chad Micheal Murray at DLR in frontierland. It was so funny because as soon as he walked by, about twenty girls were following after him with their cameras.

I was sitting right of the the restrooms od DCA and I was texting my best friend and Kay Panabaker said "Hi there." and I'm like "oh hi." Without even looking at her then i said "oh sorry I'm so rude my name is---"
And I saw Kay. She just laughed and said it was okay she was on vacation. This happened last year. I was soooo peralyzed (sp?) that I forgot to ask for an autograph!!!!!!!!!! DARN!

Kelsey Grammer was at the 50th anniversary. Saw plenty of celebs during the 50th kickoff party, too- but that was a VERY special occasion.

We geeked out over seeing Warwick Davis at BOMA in 2003. My friends and I are huge Willow and Star Wars fans. We were tempted to ask for an autograph- but hey, the guy was on vacation, too.

Years ago, I saw the Olsen Twins (Mary Kate & Asley). They were probably only 11 or 12 at the time, and hanging out with friends of theirs. No bodyguards with them.

Another time, Jim McMahaon, the former quarterback of the Chicago Bears was in a ride line with his family.

I saw Raven Symone one time.. I got her autograph and met her like in MGM one time. It was cool.. I'm used to famous peeps.

Over Christmas my family was visiting DLR. On the 23rd we went to Disneyland. While waiting in the fast pass line of Haunted Mansion Holiday we spotted the Arquette family in the VIP line. David Arquette (has the new show "In Case of Emergency"), Patricia Arquette (stars on the NBC TV show "Medium", she was with the teen actress that plays her daughter (Ariel) on "Medium".) And also Courtney Cox-Arquette (her new show is Dirt on FX or USA I think) was also there with their little girl, Coco. There was another man with the group, he looked like an Arquette, may have been their brother Redmond, not sure about that.
It was very sureal and cool to see all of them together in a group at Disneyland just hanging out as a family no bodyguards or entourage. LOL There was one Disneyland security guard and 1 Disneyland castmember in a plaid blazer accompanying them. They must have got on the ride after us because the security guard and cast member were waiting at the end of the Doom Buggie exit when we got off the ride. The interesting thing was even though ppl in the line recognized them, nobody started yelling their names or tried to take pictures of them. We geeked out over seeing Warwick Davis at BOMA in 2003. My friends and I are huge Willow and Star Wars fans. We were tempted to ask for an autograph- but hey, the guy was on vacation, too.

I got to meet him in Indianapolis for the Star Wars convention (hey, I was just there to support my brother, tyvm) in 2005. I actually got to meet him. He was VERY gracious.

I was working the photo booth and his wife came over to buy pictures to have the other actors sign to take back to their kids' school. Can I just say that his little baby boy was like the cutest thing ever? He looked like a baby Ewok, without hair. I mean seriously, soooooo cute.

Jason Earles and the Jona Brothers at WDW. I was there during the edition for Disney 411 reguarding the Expedition Everest. They were trying to block the ride entrance everyone was taking pics.. I have never seen a famous person before, but my friend has. I can't remember his name, but he was a contestant from American Idol - he was the guy with the different hair styles each time (odd hair styles). She saw him sitting on a bench, just across Main Street - until she heard girls screaming.

There was two stars from General Hospital, they asked her what's it like to work for the Disneyland Resort. lol She was laughing when she told me this because she was wondering the same thing about them.

I sat next to John Stamos (Uncle Jessy hehe) in Tough to Be a Bug ride at Cali Adventure. He even asked me to take a picture of him and the people with him.

Also went to the POTC2 premiere and was able to get the signature of Orlando Bloom, Kiera Knightly, and Jerry Bruckhiemer and other cool stars.

I also saw Chad Micheal Murray at DLR in frontierland. It was so funny because as soon as he walked by, about twenty girls were following after him with their cameras.

Oh yeah, I saw him in New Orleans Square in June 06 by the pirate's exit. I hope he wasn't an actor. there were tons of people following him.

Well, in WDW I saw Christie Brinkely (sp?) [she's a model/actress and was married to Billy Joel for a while]

She sat 2 rows in front of me on Big Thunder Mountain (her security people were between us) and she was buying ice cream for herself and some other people, I think her kids.

Ran into former long time Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda on September 22nd last year. He was celebrating his 80th birthday that day.

Well I have a weird variety of "celebs" that I have spotted as an annual passholder regular..here's the list:

I took a tour for my birthday at Animal Kingdom, and Jason Earles came by, after a while I heard screaming.
Although I don't get the big deal.

And it's not exactly Disney, but me and my family took a trip to Universal Orlando, and we were exiting the Spider-Man ride, and then "Hulk" Hogan and his family walk by.

When getting in line for the Chairlift at Blizzard Beach, we talked to Warren Sapp from the Oakland Raiders. He was real nice, and I started talking to his kids too! We were going to ride the family raft ride together, but they were going to the other slide up there, while we were going to Summit Plummit.

I saw Aerosmith walking out of there ride :D

I got unlucky. I sat close to Vannesa Anne Hudgens in Disneyland. That girl can SCREAM.

I also saw Miley Cyrus getting a churro in WDW.

My friend saw Tony Shalhoub (Monk) at Disneyland. He was going to go on Tower of Terror. I heard about Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) being at disneyland on an interview he did.

One time, at Disneyland we were getting on the dock thing to go back to the Disneyland from Tom Sawyer Island and the lady, she was AWESOMELY NICE said she met Walt and he said to her, "I want you to work for me when you get older!" Because she was only 8 at the time. I go to Disneyland soon... How awesome would that be.. I would love that! My great uncle knows the guy who put in the lake at Disneyland.. Big whoop.. LOL! No offense intended... Has anyone seen the Disney Aladdin show at DCA?
